well..that explains it. I did not recognize this figure besides by name, and Like I said, My only real exposure to BM was the bigger Tankor toy, and one other one..maybe..scavenger? he kinda rolled along and his legs moved? actually a cool toy..

for a stand alone figure for me, easy pass.

    its just...KO looking to me.

What's this suppose to be? Naming him Tankor will not help.

Either way, that's one ugly alt mode.

Hasbro was doing so well with Generations BW line too.

Obscure comic-centric characters, or a known character from a show.
    Hmmm.
I don't read the comics, so those mean NOTHING to me. Tankor, on the other hand, is a welcome Beast Machines update I will happily add to my Beast collection.

Size was irrelevant when the Beast Machines baby boy version of the Tank Drone ended up being full of win. This is not looking like a winner.

    I'm not gonna lie.

The original BM Toy looks vastly more impressive that this POC IMHO.

Maybe it's just the photos, but it looks like some kind of cheap Kid's Meal Toy.

with today's tech, they could have just as easily made this exact model into a toy as well:

The comics are hardly obscure anymore. They're more popular in the fandom now than the Prime series ever was.
    You should.

The Tank Drone is even smaller, less accurate, and less posable than this figure will be.

When was the last time you saw a kid's meal toy? Have you ever seen a kid's meal toy?

People need to quit parroting that opinion. It's absurd.

Probably not, because that first picture is a preliminary design that wasn't used in the show.

And even if they could, almost the entire tank top would be on the robot mode's back, and people would complain about that instead.

I like this thing. I really don't care about scale, as I've never watched BM and don't have a sense of it for the character.

If I had the money to do so, I'd buy 3 or 4 of him to act as mass-produced Decepticon drones for my classics collection.

Yeah no this new mold is not accurate at all. I'd say it's about equally inaccurate as the Beast Machines versions.

I don't what show you watched, but this is supposed to be a nearly-screen-accurate version, and it isn't, it's barely close to the show colors, and proportioned wrong. Note the claws.

So far, we have three Tankors that don't look like Tankor.

WOW...I almost cant believe I may actually pass on this one. Did Hasbro get lazy...I mean they didn't even try to disguise/hide the head in tank mode. A visored dome or something but this is almost Family Dollar KO TF material.... Hopefully Cosmos and the rest are better made than this

Yes, this Tankor toy has a screen accurate bot mode. And, personally I think his tank mode looks better than his bot mode for the toy. I could care less about him being a deluxe versus a voyager (if he was a really nice stand alone figure, I'd say to hell with scale. But, the cheap looking blue/ gray plastic for the head and extremities really kills the toy for me. The head and arm molds themselves have a good amount of detail, but without some paint to bring out that detail, it looks really cheap.

I would love to support a Beast Machines toy because I think some of the CGI models of the maximals especially were really cool looking, but this toy just looks really cheap.

P.S. Why the heck doesn't anyone lower the toys shoulder flaps so they lay flush against the arms like on the TV show? He looks weird with those shoulder flaps splayed out like that.

His head is NOT supposed to be hidden in Tank mode...Look at the CGI model he was based on.
