Got this guy in the mail yesterday. I think this mold must have been reworked because this has to be one of the best copies of the mold I have and I have almost all of them. All the joints are nice and tight and the front of the vehicle actually fits together which I haven't been able to do with since Sunstreaker. I think my only complaint is I wish the decepticon logo had a white or silver background to help it stand out more. I still think the G2 colored one is still better though. Sorry if my pictures aren't the best.
Looks awesome but I honestly can't have just one member of a combiner and not have the others, it just feels wrong.
I got mine yesterday and unfortunately his front wheel attachments were swapped so his shoulders could not be properly transformed. Thankfully it could be fixed by popping off the ball jointed shoulder, removing a couple screws and swapping the wheels and then popping the ball joints back in. It was annoying, but I'm pretty sure it was a one-off error since the other one I got (which is for a friend) didn't have the same problem. I like the mold and the new-to-me head, and I like the deco. A solid figure, but based off of pictures in the OP it looks like the G2 version is a bit better.
Just got mine today and it's missing the front grille. Since I'm no longer a TFCC subscriber, I can't get customer service for the damn thing either. =\ Which brings to mind, why did I pay extra shipping/insurance on these things if I have to be a current member for it to be applicable?
I wasn't a member anymore and they swapped my Scourge with shitty paint. Email Angie at [email protected] she is super nice and can definitely help you. Just be courteous and send her some pictures of the problem when you email her.
I love this guy. Second one of this mold I have and I was honestly worried about the joints cause my Red Alert was horribly loose all over. Definitely gonna try to get that Universe Dragstrip now.
Yeah, drop them a line dude, you paid them good money for this current member or not. On topic, eagerly awaiting mine in a week or two. I do so dislike how long international shipping takes...
