So most people are quite familiar with this mold by now, I don't have much to say about it that hasn't already been said. Overall this is exactly what you would expect, no surprises with the color scheme, it looks a lot better than Starscream, and he goes well with Takara's Skywarp.

For anyone not familiar with the mold, I would actually recommend TC over Starscream or TT Skywarp: His deco is more vibrant, he's cheaper than importing Skywarp, the included comic is a nice touch, and he doesn't have any of the problems that Starscream had; his knees bend easily with no worries about breaking, and the shoulder hinges are easier to move.

I don't have the lighting setup or photography skill to show it, but the blue is close to the Henkei shade of blue, not as dark as the previous Generations release.

If I had to be critical, the outlines on the wing symbols are a bit soft, I hate gray plastic anywhere it shows up, and his weapons have fewer paint details than the last three releases - they didn't even paint the gun barrels.

The included comic is a nice touch, if you're not already reading the current IDW lines then you are really missing out. This particular spotlight wasn't the best ever, and some aspects of it may be odd if you aren't up to speed with the current story, and I don't think the FoC style fits with the rest of the IDW universe, but what the hell - it's a free comic.

Overall, Thundercracker and Skywarp made me a fan of this mold, I thought Starscream was entirely forgettable. You shouldn't be surprised by anything here, you'll get pretty much everything you were expecting.

I wish the blue was darker like the previous figure, but he still looks great. Definitely a must-have.

Agreed. Here's hoping that (if) Takara makes the shiny deco of TC, they do justice on the guns. Alas, Generations TC looks good.

I think the blue is still adequate, he's close to the Hasbro MP shade it's just a different finish on the plastic. If I can get the lighting right I'll get a pic of the two. Of course I think they should all be the sparkly G1 shade, but this one doesn't seem wrong.

Thundercracker looks to be the best of the 3 FOC seekers released thus far. I'm getting an even bigger Genericon vibe from Skywarp now and will definitely wait on the Hasbro release.

Generations Thrilling 30 FOC Thundercracker Pictorial

I did not see a pictorial for Generations Thundercracker yet. If there is mods please delete or merge.

First of all I have to say this figure's paint apps are AWESOME! Starscream almost looks like a prototype next to him. Hasbro did a really good job. I'm a big fan of this mold and I passed on the Takara Skywarp so I was stoked about this figure.

    And with starscream.

Really good Figure I'd recommend him. I sighted him at Wal-Mart and they looked like they were doing a reset.

Nice pics, I can't wait for him along with hoist. Though stores in my state are still lacking the first wave.I hope that skywarp will be in the next wave or two.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who likes the FOC seeker mold more than the Classics.

yeah the classics now just look so static to me now and seem so straight up and down. but again thats the design.

i think the foc seeker might become the new seeker.

Thundercracker is gorgeous, and retroactively makes me want a Starscream.

I think its time for an improved "Classics Seeker mold". Preferably Voyager Class, although I know that's pretty much wishing on a star...

I THINK he's in wave 3 w/ Goldfire, Dreadwing, and Waspinator.

Edit: Nope, that's Skids in that wave.

I think Skywarp's in wave 8 (Wave 4 of IDW deluxes?) with Scoop and Armada Starscream.
