I picked up both Megatron and Dreadwing recently.

Got two left feet on the Megatron :(  . And Dreadwing struggled to close up well.

My Megatron manages to just about lock together okay, but with Dreadwing it was totally impossible to peg the left wing in at both the nose and the tail at the same time. Really frustrating, compounded with another minor fault in the left chest section not squeezing together neatly for the front of the wing.

Looking at pics and videos online, it seems I'm far from the only person to have this problem:

I reckon there's an assembly fault. I think a pin is in backwards - the flat-headed pin in the hinge between the robot head and back plates.

The plastic has a definite recess for the flat pin head on the right-hand side, so it could be flush if inserted from there. But they've inserted it from the left, and (as far as I can tell) there's no head recess from that side. The protruding pin head conflicts with the wing panel.

I tried hammering the pin in further, but it won't go - it seems the recess isn't there for it. I didn't fancy removing the pin to reverse it, so I just carved a notch out of the back of Dreadwing's leg to make room for the pin head. It closes up properly in bomber mode now, and the notch is barely visible in robot mode.

Just got to figure out how to get that chest panel to close up now - the bottom lip won't go behind the top lip like the other 3 panels.
