They're even better with the 3rd Party add on set for them. I'd highly recommend getting it if you still can.

I don't know why, but they oversized KO looks completely out of place. I like hasbro's version of TC and he fits is in fine with the rest of the Gen line. Can't people be happy that Hasbro released a update toy of Trailbreaker?

Found it; it's on Sirtoys. Look forward to seeing a review of them to see what kind of quality they are.

In my dreams, reprolabels will do an "oversized" sticker sheet to make the KO look more like the original.

We're asking Aaron Black of ReproLabels to do a set. They have a facebook page and that's where I found my info.

Dammit..Cannot budget for the preorder. For those that preordered from SirToys, do they charge on the spot or is it charge upon shipped?

    Thread necromancy of sorts.....

With CW Trailbreaker having such a fantastic head sculpt I can't be the only one who wondered this, but I just tried it out and here's the result. It's Takara Trailcutter with CW Trailbreaker's head. This required no modding/shaving. Just popped it on. It stays quite securely and even has a tiny bit of head tilt articulation. However, it won't recess into the cavity for alt mode. It does a bit, but not much. It works enough for me though. And it really doesn't look that bad in alt mode either as it adds a bit of much needed bulk.

It looks good... something does look slightly off. The CW head looks a tad too big on that body. Otherwise it's perfect.

I'd be interested to see how the Generations head works on the CW body

I posted some pictures of this mod last month in the 3rd party forum (thread for Echo's upgrade kit) and I also prefer this head as well. It does recess if you turn his face up but then you'll have an exposed head :(  I'm hoping someone can design a face cover for this on Shapeways or something.

Aww geez. You posted those pics in response to my inquiry about how a CW head on Trailcutter's body would look! I'm sorry it took me this long to see it! :(

Also thank you for pointing out that it will recess if you have it face up. I just tried it and was "Wow, look at that! It does!" And you know what? IT GETS BETTER! You can actually turn the head to the side while its in the recess! You can hide the face in alt mode! AWESOME! I mean, its not perfect, but it's *very* close. I was toying with the idea of shaving plastic down inside the head so it would recess face-down properly but now having discovered this I am NOT touching it.

I now have a proper G1 Trailbreaker head with head tilt articulation and the figure now looks like what I always wanted for my Classics shelf. I'm kind of giddy about this. Thank you! :D

That actually won't work without shaving plastic away from the Generations head. You have to unscrew the Generations head to separate the halves and remove it from the head post whereas the CW head is just on a ball peg that also happens to fit on the Generations head post.

You sir, are a genius! I never thought to try turning the head while it's folded down, it totally works! Thank you for coming up with that!

Many apologies for resurrecting the thread, but I picked up a second hand copy of this today and seem to be having trouble transforming him to get the back piece to sit flush in alt mode. Anyone got any tips??

I am using the LG version of this guy and his mold mate for my Siege shelf. They look just exotic enough to hang out with the current "pre-Earth" crew.
