amazing 3 grown men and a 17 year old talking bout a transformers clevage. i mean its reall funny i musta laughed for about 2 minutes   but back to the topic................ how long are the instructions 3 steps and can someone put up pics of the toy just so we could take a better look at the articulation and how the bot and alt modes look out of the box

Not many paint/color differences between the two, but these seem to be it:

. purple circles on boat deck and center of chest appear to be lighter in color on Tblast.

. dark purple on missile gun is only painted on the sides and not underneath on TBlast.

. silver and orange/gold details only on front half of torso on Tblast.

. people have mentioned "lopsided eyes" on Chromia, but I haven't noticed that on Tblast.

 

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet in the thread, and I'm not in the mood to read through it all but is Thunderblast's left leg missing a stripe like the one here?

If that is the case then that kinda sucks but I'm not gonna go get a Chromia and cry over it.

 

Um, nope. All the ones I've seen have the stripes on both legs. The one in that photo was probably a fluke with a paint app missed.

 

Shoot I have yet to see this one hit and I plan on getting her anyway. I hope to get the leaders as well, well gotta have her crushing on Megs or Galv right.

yeah, cleavage discussion makes me all gooey inside too.

 

Why is every one saying all you have to do is open, fold out arms and legs and put gun in hand? you have to raise the body too   But I do want this figure as soon as she hits canada! I just wish my damn zellers would get some deluxe class sized figures, I STILL DON'T HAVE HOTSHOT YA KNOW!

Nah, just joking, Thunderblast is also on my get list for when Cybertron is released here in the U.K, as i have yet to get a Girl Transformer for my collection, unless you count BW Turantulas with 'Gender Switch' action.

*ahem* That aside, I havent got Tblast yet, but I do think she is a cool, unique TF. We rarely see decepticons fembots, so she is a welcomed addition to my collection (once I get her). Her boat mode is wicked (I love water-themed TFs) and her robot mode is different but in a good way. Her thin body but BIG gun (and big cape/wings thing) is an interesting contrast. Her colour are cool, very Decepticon, and her head is one of the coolest I've seen in a while.

 

i just picked up, its pretty underwhelming.

the alt mode is reall really good, kinda james bond-ish. but the transformation and the figure itself? besides shellformer, she also reminds me of pretenders, without the benefit of detaching the shell, plus, you cant even stand her up straight (unless u counterbalance with her BFG). the cape helps out the action poses, but thats it.

kinda weird she has the matrix motif working on her chest/boob/corset area.

edit: just discovered her back plate hinge, she works better now, hehe. dumb.

 

But ONLY if you look directly from the front AND you manage to forget what it was a few seconds before you transformed her.

Conversely, E-Ironhide's head was hidden from pretty much every angle EXCEPT the front, and no one could overlook that.

 

But you forget that E-Ironhides helmet could flold down in front of his eyes and nose.  

 

dude, helmet or no helmet, even 20 years ago the designers manage to engineer alt modes with conceal heads.

In Dave VanDoleman's review he gave an excellent suggestion - the inside of boat hull should have had some feather-like texture, to reinforce the idea that they're wings.
