Good thing I'll be getting this for my 5 year old. He'll love it. Me...not so much. I'll probably enjoy playing with his Metroplex a lot more.

im in Canada, they are up for preorder on tru.ca optimus is 69.99 and pred is 59.99

TRANSFORMERS PRIME - BEAST HUNTERS - Beast Fire Predaking Figure - Hasbro - Toys"R"Us

not sure if prices will reflect in the states, but they should be within 10 bucks of one another if history is anything to go on form previous instances of early preorders.

Op is also in aus. not sure what retail is for leaders...they are usually a little more expensive then states pricing.

Need this for a custom but he still looks awesome.

Any chance we could get a pic of him in bot mode but with the dragon head up?

Also, I think his bot mode feet are mistransformed. I think you're supposed to rotate them 180 degrees.

You forgot to spin his feet around so he doesn't have dragon toes in robot mode.

I'll wait a bit and see if this guy ever goes on sale. He looks good, it's the few issues that, well, I have issues with. It's all fixable, but I'm tired of having to fix my toys.

Canada always pays more for toys. $59.99 is average Leader price.

I still want this for some reason. He seems simplified, but that doesn't bother me.

Yeah, the wings are clipped on over the battery case and they fall off pretty easy, I have also heard people say he has difficulty holding his sword, but mine holds it just fine.

This guy was $69 in Australia, while Leaders are usually about $79-89 RRP.

D'oh! I'm going to retake the pics after work today, I'll fix that.

Ah jeez. Another gimmick fest. Review is good thanks but both of these ultimate figures look like more weaponizers under another name.

I'd prefer articulated dragon face over gimmickry, but I was never quite able to pull the trigger on voyager Predaking, so I'll most likely be getting big wingsy.

Shouldn't the veins be forward facing on his robot mode - it looks like the wings have been swapped left to right by mistake.

I'm actually looking forward to the "light up" gimmick.

That's how the wings go according to the instructions, although I see no reason why you couldn't switch them if that's the look you prefer.

He's big and appears to be more accurate color/paint-wise, so he's a buy for me. Looks better than the Voyager.

Thank you. It's a shame about the weird standard head position, but the rest of the toy looks nicely imposing and has plenty of articulation in both modes.

I had a ton of hope for this toy.

When we saw the photos what was it...last year? of the dragon mode. it looked so much more impressive to me. but then i saw him in the show. I'd kill for a show accurate "PREDACON" i am no longer calling him Predaking. it's not his name. he's just a nameless Clone to me.

I am glad you Aussies got first shot at these toys. Somehow you guys dont swoon and go starry eyed at a new toy and gloss over the shortcomings like the guys here do!

I get the complaint, but that'd be more of an issue with the character design itself than the toy. The voyager also has the wings coming from the middle of the torso, like what you'd see on some Succubus designs out there. It seems like it's completely intended. I personally don't mind, it's just different.

Yes. Just see how overwhelmingly positive this community is on every toy reveal. Also there are only two countries in the planet, "Aussiland" and 'Murica.

Has no one noticed that they messed his fangs up???

They attached his top jaw fangs to the bottom jaw with the bottom jaw fangs. Theyre supposed to be attached to the top jaw. One set of fangs on the top & one set on the bottom :/
