    The transformation 'mechanism' on blazemaster:

    Some notes:

    Bee with Blazemaster
    - I don't understand why but plastic is thinner on Bee than on Prime
    - Bee looks kinda bulky and gangly
    - No head swivel nor waist swivel
    - Not a bad toy but comparing him to Optimus is like comparing Blitzwing to Springer

Optimus looks really nice. I actually wasn't going to really bother with these two, but I might grab Optimus at least.

    Really? Really?

As in Bee is not a bad toy, just that Optimus is pretty good compared to it. Just like how Blitzwing is not a bad toy, just that it pales in comparison to Springer.

I honestly think Bee looks pretty fantastic. Sucks that he doesn't have head articulation, but the 'bot mode looks rather nice, and so does the alt mode. I don't think Bee is the analogy to voyager Blitzwing...I feel the two are closer based upon the pics. Optimus is goddamn fantastic though. Like with the voyagers and the deluxes...I can't wait to get these guys.

My only issue with Bumblebee is that the robot mode doesn't look like it has any business transforming into that vehicle mode.

Bee is prolly a good toy but it just kinda bland and I'm not a fan of the design.

So they're both Commander size, right? He looks pretty cool, Prime too.

Pretty big hand holes. Doesn't look bad but it's another Bee so he's a pass. OP is bought hard though.

Agreed. IMO, the vehicle mode reminds me of Legends Wheelie. Still, both figures look cool and are probably fun to mess with.

I like it because it's more of a return to a G1 inspired 'Bee than another Movie or Prime based Bee. I'm always in support of more G1 inspired homages and designs.

These look pretty cool! Nice pics. Any chance of some size comparison pics with a reasonably common figure?

Also, are there any peg holes in the back of the bot modes? Reason I ask is that springer seems to have a flip up seat on the back of his car mode (complete with peg) and I just wondered there was some planned compatibility going on there?

the lack of a neck joint is really hurting this one for me. I'm going to try and skip him, but I'm sure I'll probably grabbing him. Im a sucker for g1 style legends

Is there any way to get Blazemaster turn into an Action Master style helicopter backpack for Bumblebee?

Not sure if these pics answer all your questions...
Blazemaster as backpack is possible but seems a little weird.
I would rather just remove the chopper blades and attach them to his back instead of the whole helicopter.
Come to think of it, this actually increases his playability.

I think I like Bee more than Op. I just like the look of his desgin more, and that head is perfect. Can't wait til these two and the voyagers hit my PoL.
