Can the leg hold all its weight with only 1 leg pegged in?

I bought a few of these sets when Target clearanced them before.Christmas. all of mine hold together pretty well..the only real problem, is the leg figures themselves..they just make shitty legs. They untab, the arms could have been utilized for stability, but weren't.

Pretty neat fig. I now have 2 with matching limbs, and THAT look is WAAAY better, to me at least, than the stock look.

So they hold well even with only 1 leg pegged in? Thanks :D

What I don't like about the leg is the way they sometimes bump to each other :(

the clips themselves seem to be better on the single cards, but the way they kinda sammich in there I don't really have an issue with them coming off.

Just picked this up at Target for 7.48. For full price I would not get it. But if you can find it for the price of 1 legends figure it's a great item!

Wat, $7.48?! How'd you manage that? That's insane! (congrats)

I want to see more repaints of these bots. Blight's got a bunch of cool decos, Cutthroat's getting one too (though in the other faction), but the others aren't different enough (Cindersaur, the Target set) or I'd have to import them (which I'd rather not). I'd love to have enough for 2 Abominuses, and maybe a few spare limbs to keep them varied.

Very well. I'd argue the legs are actually more secure this way. The official way had them popping off all the time.

Be advised that to connect the arms, you need 2 crossbow weapons to make it work.

I picked up all 5 in their single packs the other day, so is there somewhere I can find instructions to combine them? It appears the single ones don't have any instructions for that!

I looked back through the pages and didn't see it anywhere.....

    Help Please!

Found all these guys last night at Wal-Mart but they've upped the price to $6.97 and I just couldn't justify paying almost $40 for the set in one shot. I only picked up Rippersnapper for now since he's near impossible to find and will grab the others here and there.

I do wish the Target box set would go on clearance though.

It did by me. a month before Christmas I bought 4 sets for $6 each.

They will clearance again..But I think it may be a bit. Target seemed to run this 1/4s clearance already, but sometimes they toss odd stuff. Theres still SO many on the shelves that I would not sweat getting one.

BUT, That said..This set is kick ass for the pennies I paid for it. and if you like the combiners, I recommend getting 2 of the sets. I have 2 completely different gestalts with symmetrical limbs, Or you can stack these guys and make..

    Batshit crazy stuff.

Don't pay full price...Wait til a %50 off (or more), and buy 2..

EDIT..Oh yea..Then you will have SO many purple weapons, you can use them to make a static MG type weapon using the hammers as stabilizers and it looks tight.

Yeah this is one heck of a threadsurrection but I finally got these guys at Five Below and other than an okay combiner mode, this guy's individual beast and bot modes are fantastic! I feel so stupid for having passed on this guy time and again. He's pretty darn good and worth buying if you can get each one for $3-5 each at Five Below.

Before I get started, I realize that it's been six whole years since this thread was last active. However, I have only recently been able to get my hands on this (frankly awesome) combiner, and I wanted to share some of my opinions on him.

    20220120_200703.jpg

I found all five Terrorcons/Predacons to be really fun toys, so I spent a lot of time fiddling with them and discovered some transformation steps for the combiner mode that were either intended but left out of the instructions or just make things look a lot better and cleaner for me.

Here's some tips for the legs, Rippersnapper and Blight, to make them hold together better:

    20220121_101429.jpg
    20220121_101851.jpg
Rippersnapper's tail and chestplate actually tab together in leg mode to make a more solid leg. His arms don't connect as securely as Blight's do, but you can align his shoulders against the diagonal sides of his chest and they stay in place very well. They stick out behind the combiner leg in the same angle as Blight's arms and also let the legs stand straighter when combined, which leads me to believe this was the intended way.

    20220121_101550.jpg
Also, as TFXProtector mentioned before, Blight's arms tab into his chestplate to make the leg more more solid. Here's a closer picture on how they connect. It's easier if the fists are left flipped out, but it can be done with the fists folded inwards for a slightly less kibbly combiner leg.
