Got this guy yesterday. Finally my cyberverse TF Prime decepticons are complete !

Cyberverse Beasthunters Legion class Soundwave
This little Soundwave is fantastic, and looks fairly accurate in both modes.
Articulation is as expected of legion class toys and at least he has elbow joints !
Some head articulation would have been nice, but the main problem is that he may be too short...so scale may be an issue for some.
He comes with the same weapon as smokescreen.
They should have come up with some new weapons imo. Renaming the same bladegun many times over is just not right ...

I picked up Hun-Gurrr too from the same wave, but will open him later when I get all 5 of em "terrorcons".

A much needed piece in any cyberverse prime collection !

Sorry. Just really excited for the Terrorcons.

So how's the transformation? It looks pretty similar to the Deluxe. I'm not entirely sold on the robot mode, but the drone mode looks nice.

 

Soundwave looks great!  

Where did you get that Breakdown? Is it a custom?

 

He looks pretty cool, but his face gets lost in all the paint on his head.

 

That may actually look better than the deluxe to me. Dig the alt mode too.

 

Yup. I was annoyed with his small size, so I decided to do someting about it with the parts I had.

Good eye ! Actually BD's legs are just folded up behind him (adds bulk) and he slots nicely into the frame you have, after removing Target exclusive's IH's upper body. I thought it worked out very well too  
The best part is - since BD was not modded - he still transforms !

If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase soundwave? Through internet or at retail in your area? I have my pre-order through BBTS and patiently waiting (that could change haha) for soundwave to arrive =).

 

So Wave 2 is out eh? Time to go hunting for Hun-Gurrr.

 

Well, wave 2 is out where I live, which is in Singapore. I believe they are releasing the new waves here early, to drum up excitment for the supposed showing of the Transformers Prime : Beast Hunters (120 mins) TV movie this Friday the 15th of March over here. Needless to say - I will try to rush home after work to catch it on the day !

Hope its true and not just some typo in the TV listings...

Sup with all these cyberverse figures looking better than their deluxe counterparts? Wow!

 

I'm mildly curious what more does a legion's bot mode require before you're "sold". He's got fairly show accurate colors and form, ball shoulders and hips, hinge elbows (and ankles?), and no real unsightly kibble. It honestly doesn't get too much better than this at the moment besides a few exceptional figures with elbows and knees plus the things I just mentioned, like Cliffjumper.

Soundwave is right up there at the top.

 

Soundwave is lookin good, my only thing is the head looks to me like he is digging his chin into his chest

And I agree with the others here, Soundwave should have been a commander, not puny like Airachnid. Love that Breakdown mod, bummed I won't find those Ironhide legs anywhere now.
