Takara MP-13 Soundwave

Got my MP-13 yesterday and broke my 4 year record in not posting a review online

Comes with quite a lot of cool stuff! And now I have 4 Megatron Guns lol.

Love how he can press his own eject button.

Laserbeak Alien Chest burster

Hardpoints for Laserbeak on the wrist and shoulder

Energon Cube. I already put the papercraft in

Alt mode

Only problem is the hollow area in the ass area of alt mode. I don't mind it, but it is a flaw..

In summary EXCELLENT figure. I've been waiting for this ever since it was announced and it does not disappoint. Don't wait for local release, get it NOW!!! You don't want to miss out, look what happened with MP Grimlock!

Catch my full review at my blog - Ace's Weblog Anime, Figures, Fanfiction - Now revived! And I have tons of new figures to review in the pipeline (all Transformers lol)

Word of warning for those who have him: his index fingers can 'pop out' so be careful when fiddling with them e.g. posing him to 'eject' Lazerbeak. It has happened to me a few times. Nothing serious in terms of breakages - just pop the finger back.

The concern is the index finger may fly to 'parts unknown'! LOL!

Thank you for the review and the beautiful pictures. My only gripe is that the wait for him seems even harder.

I'm waiting for the Hasbro version (because it's very likely they'll do him) in the hopes that he has yellow eyes...
How much am I spending this year on Transformers?

Every pics of him look very awesome, can't wait to have him.
-This pop off index figure does bug me. My MP10 is force to wear the enegon ax cause that side of the index figure pop off very easily.
-How big is Soundwave box?
ULTRA MAGNUS - G1, RID, ANIMATED, PRIME...

Looks cook.

Soundwave, being possibly the most iconic toy of the 80s, surely will get a Hasbro release..ill wait for that.

None that my friends and I can find. Hard to believe but it seems TT finally got a MP release right in terms of paint job. No scratches or paint chips on the key areas such as face, visor, chest area - nothing. A real pleasant surprised! LOL!
