I don't know, he looks kinda boring now. But he's still a lot better than Energon Omega Supreme and Sentinel.

 

anyone that has this guy, i'd love a pic or two of him with RTS legends optimus prime, WST prime, WST magnus or prime commander magnus  

 

If the interior is no different, it could be very simple to replace the lights and sounds that the previous had. Add that to my list of wanted addons to this guy.

The amazing part is how you look at the alt modes and think WTF, then it combines into a great looking Omega. I want to dislike it, but can't, hence I ordered it.

 

Very tempted to get a hold of the Year of the Snake figures now, though Omega Supreme was always gonna grab my attention.   Thanks for the size comparison with Yellow Giant. I have Hercules instead - for now at least - and he could just fit on my Autobot shelf with room to spare, so OS might just fit in the back there nicely.  

 

Well, he's paid and in my POL now. Just shipping a pile out though, so probably going to wait until a few more items drop before sending him.

I own the original Energon Omega, and I'm glad to see them release this... It's WAY overdue. Losing the extendo-arm gimmick isn't a loss, as it never worked very well on Energon Omega. While Energon Omega's Headmaster gimmick WAS well executed, and it's a bit of a shame to see it go, the new headsculpt makes up for it. That, combined with the color scheme and the detailing the original figure has makes it look like a hunk of Cybertron itself pulled itself out of the landscape and surrounding materials, stood up, and decided it didn't like you.

 

HA! I knew it looked familiar for some reason. I guess all I need to do is find a fan mode for BH Predaking that will give him a Ghidorah look.

 

mine just hit on BBTS when I was NOT prepared for it-which means i need to choose between this or a Roxio Game Capture card, was planning on doing a gaming channel, possibly some TF reviews too... oh what to do, what to do...

Oh look! The over priced 3rd party alternative. The one coming out at the end of the month that we have had no updates on all month on better colour/base mode/face under visor.

Redo that picture with the equivalent cost comparison and you would have 3 omegas to the one 3rd party.

AND the 3 Omegas would still have actual alt modes.

 

It's nice, but it's sure not hundreds more dollars worth of nice.

 

Yeah, I just put it out there. I'm very satisfied with my YOTS Omega Supreme.

 

Genesis has a better transformation, left arm and ankle tints... but $200+ more for a saggy diaper, wimpy looking biceps, made by a first-time company... and no face?

It they were the same price, i would be torn between them.

 

For this "alternative" to be considered, one must remember:

its not 1 YOTD Omega vs. 1 3P Omega.

Its like 3.5 YOTD OMega vs. 1 3P Omega. So maybe they should really post 3.5 Omega Supreme being lifted

Much more expensive, and in my opinion, doesn't look as good as the YOTS one. I'm not a fan of the squatty diaper look, or the big red spots on the body and waist. It just looks bad. Nothing against the toy, really, its accurate to the High Moon character design. It's just that I think the High Moon character designers suck at their jobs.

 

I Have a CHUG collecting rule where i usually only stick to the new sculpt stuff for the line. I try avoid the old UT repaints [but i do have a couple that worked there way into my collection.]

But i did buy the takara movie unicron, and i was surprised how well he fit in with the chug.

But even if it's based on a pre-chug figure I may cave. It's probably the best we'll get. It does look pretty decent.
