BH Wheeljack is a spike-covered mess that looks like a parade float.

However, this same atrocious spiking makes for one bad-ass looking robot mode. His ridiculous weapon is just that: ridiculous, I have no idea wtf weapon it is supposed to be, but it sure isn't a spear in anyway.

His wings are terrible kibble, and the marbled plastic is used all over this mold.

It would seem I hate this mold, but not so! I LOVE IT!!! Somehow, upgraded Wheeljack makes some sense. He is the best spikeified delux.

This dude is so cool, I'd would've almost been able to avoid Beast Hunters altogether if it were'nt for this guy.

I absolutely loved the first version of this figure so acourse I wanted to add the Beast Hunters one to my collection as well. I liked the look of the spikes and wings but its really a nightmare to pose.

If I want the "proper" transformation with flipping the "shoulder" pieces out vs leaving them folded in like how it comes out of the package I can't pose the wings very well at all or everything just gets in the way.

And what is the deal with trying to let him hold his weapon? Maybe its just mine but when I've tried to make him hold it for the life of me I can't get it in his hands, and I pinched myself a few times trying to get it in there, I'm almost afraid if I try using any more force I might brake his hands off.

The handles have thinned-out areas to slide his hands into. The shoulders are a case of design flaw, however.

Did anyone else get a Wheeljack with an extremely loose elbow joint? Mine could pop off easily and it was impossible to pose. I only ask to see if this was a one off error or if it's a common occurance.

Picked this guy up today when I couldn't find any of the Cyberverse guys I was looking for.

I know the story is that Wheeljack found some new armor and put it on, but looking at this figure in robot mode, he feels to me like what wheeljack might look like as a wise old sage warror. Like the first Deluxe is the "young" version, and this is the hardened older and wiser version of him years later.

I didn't care for the car-mode at first, but having it in hand I actually see what they were going for.

He kind of looks like the head of a eastern type dragon, but as a car.

Just got the figure and his left elbow is completely broken. It's like they didn't put the pin in all the way. You guys have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I have to admit, after finally seeing this figure in the wild yesterday, that I find myself strangely attracted to him too. This is also after thinking much the same way. I think the weapon is ludicrous and the kibble is grossly unattractive to me. I positively hate what the retooling did to the shoulders; it is one of my favorite details on the original mold.

Plus I already have three out of the four versions of this mold: with Wheeljack and Dead End already in hand and Wildrider in my PoL. Since the price came down on Deluxe figures, I am seriously thinking about springing for the third retool since in spite of my criticisms; because like yourself, after all I think I am growing to love it anyway.

I just got him I have what 6 different version of this mould family and this is the only one with super loose elbows - which is odd as his hips & knees are actually tighter than the rest have.

I think I'll have to drip floor polish in the gap or hit it with a hammer.

I like him but I still prefer BH Bumblebee overall.

    I was just messing with him and discovered a couple more neat things as shown in the image ;

He can hold his cuff/disc in his hand it simply slides in place when open. and he can store the swords to some extent inside the gap in the spear.

I also Discovered the car looks even spikier if the wings are pulled out wards - this also almost looks like a super speed mode - you can unpeg them and make them spread even more to for a flying car look.

I also fond the wings if crossed over in the folded position get of the way so much it completely frees the arms to move then. I also love that you can have him reach over for his spear - that is just cool.

Once I get them elbows tightened I think he's going to be a firm favourite of mine.
