Actually I was referring to the pin joint right above that ball joint. (Most) Ball joints usually can be tightened well enough, but pin joints are often much harder.

Gotcha. After replying, I checked mine and the pin joints were a little less stable than I'd have liked. Future took care of it really well, though. Luckily, the way it's designed allows you to drip some in there where the leg parts meet. Thanks for mentioning that.

If I could tweak this toy a tiny bit without drastically altering it, I'd probably like to change the purple paint used. It's a bit too dark and shiny compared to the parts that are purple plastic. The inconsistency in shades doesn't bother me, but he's got a face sculpt that I like and it's touch to appreciate at a casual glance with paint that's so dark and glossy.

alright so i did some more messing around with lazerback. again, the big thing i dont like with him is the whole stand up and transform. but, if you take his two front feet and switch them, they will sit back more under the forearm in bot mode . by doing so the foot will still line up with the groove on the arms.

however, in beast mode his front arms/legs will be even more limited as far as movement goes, but it already kind of was, and still looks fine in beast mode. plus it also hides the visible hands in the arm and are now moved to the back because since we switched the feet, the arm needs to be rotated for beast mode.

i also still like rotating the feet in bot mode around to give more balance. all these steps make it feel like i am actually transforming the figure and also help breaking up those stand beast to robot mode up.

Said by someone who has evidently never seen a Power Rangers toy.

See those parts where it can actually be posed? Won't get that with PR.

No kidding! I remember my original Dino Megazord from when I was a kid. To call that thing a brick is an insult to the dynamic attributes of bricks! And from what I've seen, the new stuff hasn't exactly reached out into new areas.

Huh. This figure brings me back to my childhood. He's not great, but the nostalgia factor is through the roof.

I love this figure. Not really hollow, plastic quality is great, good articulation. He's also big. Like, much bigger than I expected him to be. Dragon mode's really nice too, and I love how the tail fits perfectly over his right hand in robot mode. It makes a much better weapon than I thought it would. My only complaint is that he can't hold his blaster normally in robot mode (Due to the length of the missile), but it looks so good on his back that it doesn't really matter. He also looks awesome with Thundertron. Highly recommended.

Like this guy more than I was expecting but mine has two left ear pieces, which kinda sucks. Oh and I'm having trouble transforming him into beast mode; the yellow piece with the ears just doesn't seem to want to stay pegged into the dragon head.

I ended up just shaving the tabs off. Trying to push them into the head just stressed mine as they started to go in. The head has enough friction to stay up bt itself.

He is MUCH better than I was expecting. Transformation isn't nearly as simple as I thought it would be, and he just looks burly and powerful in both modes.

I really like the look of this guy and I really want a complete Prime collection, with every character released that's introduced into the fiction.

The thing is, however, my space is running desperately thin, to the point where I'm considering skipping all the Predacons simply to save space. So now I cna't decide: open him, or shove him back on ebay?

Does anyone still have their packaging?

I'd like to see a shot of his "animation model" if he has one.

Surprisingly impressed with the figure. I can see a lot of nostalgia factor in him, for Beast-era fans as well as G1 fans who enjoyed the late-era toys. He's a funky little figure, and I love his stockiness - it almost implies him to be huge in the canon. He's got some wrinkles (the beast head being the biggest issue), but overall a very welcome addition to my crew.
