Can anyone who is any good with PS change the thighs from red to white? Wouldn't mind seeing if it makes as big a difference as I think it will.

 

Here's my take on him.

Basically he comes with the same packaging as Sideswipe.




The colors on him just pops. And I noticed that whites on him are not white plastic but painted over white on the white plastic.
Mine has some paint problem and it is very apparent in vehicle mode.







As for the articulation, if you already have Sideswipe, you already know what to expect.

There are some variation on the mold particularly on the shoulder where the faux wheel is molded and also the head unit.



And the so-called 'paranoid mode' is easy to clip on the head. Not really much of an accessory, but a nice one nonetheless.



And he comes with the standard arm launcher. gun and the effect part.

Pretty much the same accessory count with MP12.

Vehicle mode is gorgeous, but as I mentioned, mine comes with some paint flaws. Very minor and not that noticeable.





And something worth to note. LIke MP12, the white painted over the roof and the windows have a different tone with the rest of the body.



Some might be okay with it, but to those who nitpicks, I reckon it will be very glaring for them.



Overall a very nice figure and if you already have MP12, you know what you are getting.

 

Nice pics man....just noticed the pair have indicators moulded but they aren't painted. Seems odd.

That last pic tho   .....the Countach looks far better in white for me.

 

Those are nice. I still want to see a deco of this in G1 Breakdown colors. I don't care if the molding isn't an exact match.

Just got my MP Sideswipe today and am absolutely IN LUST with it. Red Alert will be a most welcomed addition upon his arrival.

Looking forward getting him - but RA does look better with white thighs....

 

Mine arrived with a great paintjob; clean borders between the white and black or white and clear parts, all of the details are done well, and (ironically enough) the red paint is done really well. I knew I needed this after I got Sideswipe, and I like Red Alert as much as I thought I would. I wasn't prepared for how dark the purple is n his legs, most pics make it look blue but it blends in really well.

I like the photoshop of the white thighs, I'll have to keep an eye out for a Sideswipe junker and do a part swap

 

Just picked up my Red......it's perfect. I can't see any two tones, no smudges in the paint, panels line up perfectly...I'm well happy  

 

Can he be posed in the fetal position?

Prefer the red head myself. Never saw the fun in the black head, it's like Sideswipe's.

 

I've always liked it better in red.

 

Imma go with red for the head.
