    Hey all,
Seeing as how the hasbro dreadwing is being hard to come by i was thinking about the AM version. But i dont know if its worth the 50 im seeing it for. Anyone got the am version (or both) and thinks is worth getting? Ive heard the AM versions coloring isnt quite like the show version.

AM Dreadwing is a lighter shade of blue than the Hasbro/show version. I'd say hold out for the Hasbro one; I got mine for $25, shipped, on eBay, so it just takes a little oatience to get him.

No need to go AM unless you absolutely want to. Check the forums here if anyone is selling or check eBay. I have found him at retail more than once, but I guess maybe he is rarer in Canada.

No need for the AM, you might as well get the Hasbro one, which I want to get at Christmas this year.

A lot of the Powerizer Dreadwings have messed up feet. I wonder if the AM version has the same problem. I hope Skyquake doesn't.

They are packaged with 2 left feet. I didn't notice myself on mine until a friend pointed out. You can tell by looking at the feet and seeing that one is in line with the blue parts of the heel and the other isn't (usually off of the ground while the other stands flat).

To the OP, it is also said that the AM Dreadwing doens't have a rubber head, so if that irks you, that's another reason to go AM, but I say wait it out. I found my second Dreadwing the other day and it had good feet too

I got the Hasbro version and I think it's much better than the AM version, even with all the rubber on it. Better color scheme in my opinion and it's cheaper if you find it locally. I'm glad that I found it when I wasn't even looking :D

As a fellow Canadian, i'll say just be patient. I have found him at several Walmarts in the last few days alone. Its the Christmas season, bud, you just need to get in the stores earlier to look. You'll find him:)

Though I DO want AM Dreadwing's gun. Any reference to BW Depthcharge is awsome in my book

Yeah im just going to wait. Hasbro and Takara figures are low priority for me at the moment anyway. Things like these have a way of showing up later at a decent price. Or theres always TFcon later next year for them :D

For what it's worth, I have the AM and it's nice on its own, though if you have a chance to get the Hasbro version I think that's the best route for you to take unless you really want that micron.

The AM has less soft rubbery plastic for the head and the slightly different (not quite show-accurate?) deco. Stickers are used but thankfully they're not really a pain in the ass to apply like other AM releases. Mine has left and right feet, so that's not a problem. The micron it comes with doesn't replicate his gatling gun very well and there is no additional sword (I wish Takara had thrown that in like they did Wheeljack's normal swords), but I still like it better than the mechtech gun the Hasbro version comes with.

You might want to check out Real Canadian Superstore. I've heard some people have sighted wave 5 of the Voyagers there (Magnus and Thundertron). It's possible they may have Dreadwing as well, because he's an earlier wave.

I myself found one at Walmart, so I guess both are prime targets. I wouldn't sweat it too much, seeing as he's not the last wave. You'll probably get your chance soon.
