Whereas I felt the original Breakdown felt... fragile, like something I could break if I held it too firmly, this one on the other hand felt much more solid.

    I'm loving AM Cylas Breakdown.

I gave him two of RID Arcee's guns (to simulate his shoulder-mounted cannon and the gun's double pegs fit the two ports on each of his arms perfectly) as well as kitbashed a hammer for him (using one-half of the iGear City Commander upgrade set energon hammer) and the chrome missile launcher thing that came with iGear PP05 Weapon Specialist (aka not-Ironhide) to simulate the rocket he lobs at Bulkhead and Smokescreen in his first (and last) ep.

    Awesome mold.

About his vehicle mode, how can you guys close his back panel to fit? Mine still cannot and left a little bit opened.

There are two bits on the back panel that clip into the side panels. A bit of force is required to do so.

    The problem is here, dude:

That tab's gotta fit into the slot for everything to lock together.

You've got to line up the tabs on both sides simultaneously, which requires a little finesse. Everything's gotta fit together perfectly.

Holy QC problems, Batman. Just got mine from a toy shop in Hong Kong. Left arm is pinned off-center, such that the elbow can't move forward. Windshield is mis-molded, so there's a big hole in vehicle mode. I must just have terrible luck with Takara toys...

Belated comments on mine, but this is the first (and so far, only) figure that I've had multiple QC issues on each one.

The first one I picked up had two left feet. BBTS let me exchange it no problem and I just received my replacement today after shipping my current PoL. This one has the correct feet...but it has the elbow issue mentioned above. On mine it's on the right arm rather than the left, but like you guys quoted above, it appears to be pinned off-center at the elbow so I can't move the forearm forward at all really (despite a gap being present on the elbow that isn't present on the left elbow or my Breakdown and Swerve molds, because it's off-center there's no clearance for the forearm to move forward like normal).

Again, this is the first time I've had serious issues with a figure that's outside the norm, but the fact that it's happened twice on two different purchases of the same figure is unfortunate. The fact that the elbow issue has happened to at least a couple others is a little weird. I honestly thought at first that maybe it was intentional (since Silas is a busted/rebuilt version of Breakdown himself), but yeah seeing pics of others in this thread again to jar my memory, that's certainly not the case.

I guess I'll keep him...I admit I'd be stunned if a third pickup of this toy still had QC issues like what I've experienced, but I'm not in the mood to risk it at this point. The toy itself is still functional and I was enjoying the hell out of it until I tried to bend his right elbow forward to start posing him a bit. I guess it adds an unintended bit of character.

Really tempted to go for this. Only thing stopping me is that it'd cost 58 euros. That's including shipping, at least, but it's still a lot of cash for a voyager, even a Takara-only one...

I know the feeling- it's a lot for a figure on a line that while I don't feel like completing, but I do love some certain figures and molds and want to have them regardless. I'm already probably going to drop some coin for AM Wildrider ( I LOVE the mold, and Dead End needs a pal) so I'm tempted to drop this on my birthday wishlist (at least it's 60 bucks I don't have to spend!)

I'm tempted to get one just so I can have one of this mould with both a right and left foot. My War Breakdown has two left feet and I'm struggling to find a right for for him.

Best I could hope for would be to get one with two right feet but I just know that with my luck it would be another one with two left feet.

So I just got this as my first version of the mold, and it's pretty nice (though once you own this you start to understand why Hasbro didn't bother). A part of the clear plastic that makes his abdome was horribly bent and stressed, but it wasn't an important bit and is out of sight in both robot and vehicle modes so whatever. Overall I'm pretty glad I got him to have a Prime Breakdown in my Prime collection.

The only problem I -think- I have is that it feels the head on mine could look further down, but something pushes it a bit back when I move it forward. It still looks to the front but I have to tilt the torso forward a bit. I've seen other breakdown pictures and I'm sure he can look down more, but I'm not sure which part to fix here. Maybe shaving the base of the neck a bit? The clear plastic on everything makes me a little nervous however.

Is the head thing a known issue? Can't post pictures at the moment, sadly.

This is my first experience with the Breakdown mold and I love it! I will just use him as a alternate colored/battle damaged Breakdown since the normal one costs so much more. The colors and stickers are nice, the the transformations seems more complex than it actually is! Overall its pretty on par with the FE figures and I do not regret owning it! I am just glad to finally have some form of Breakdown from Prime.

Well I decided to get this figure, since normal Breakdown is at ridiculous prices now. It was a 50/50 deal, with it turning out okay in the end...I guess.

I ordered two figures at roughly 40 dollars each, and when they arrived one was perfectly fine. The other had the arm problem (so it won't transform into vehicle mode) AND was missing a hood panel. Amazon took care of the issue by giving me a refund (and told me to keep the figure), but now I have one Transformer and one statue (that's missing a piece).

I just wish that I read this section for figure reviews (I mostly go by video reviews), since it would have made me skip even trying to obtain another imported figure. Now, I seriously doubt that I'll even attempt another go at getting a good Silas Breakdown. Shame, since the figure that I do have (that works) is really cool and fun to transform.

I've got the same problem on my Swerve figure (or rather a different problem that yields the same result), but I managed to force it forward. I'm still skeptical about doing it a lot, but mine didn't break. Really liking this Breakdown too, and it was nice to see that its knees are painted instead of needing a sticker like Swerve does.
