I want this guy to pose with the Combaticons and so my WFC Megatron will have someone to beat up. I also want him because he's a jet, and one of the better-looking Cybertronian jets that we've gotten.

One of the best deluxes we've seen in years. Amazingly fun little figure with two solid modes and badass weapons.

Just picked this figure (and Kickback) up at Wal Mart.
This is easily one of the best Starscream figures in my collection, and fast becoming my favorite.
The bot mode is fantastic, with just enough articulation to put it above the classics mold, and it feels amazingly sturdy and chunky. Even though I really like the Combaticons, this figure is so solid that it seems like it's another line altogether.
As a fan of Cybertronian designs, the alt mode is pure gold. It really feels like a space-jet, which is the intention. Not since Terradive have I wanted to fly a toy jet around my office yelling "Pew pew pew" at my co-workers.
The winning bit is the plastic. The colors are excellent, and the plastic feels solid and not fragile in the least.
    Excellent, EXCELLENT figure.

Bring on the rest of the Seekers. There is even space in the transformation for them to make the coneheads!!!

Definitely my favorite Starscream mold in quite a while. I've been waiting a long time for a figure to replace the Energon Starscream mold, and this more than does the job and then some. Hopefully we get a Thundercracker version!

The only notable complaint I have is that the pegs fit in a bit too tight on the hands and forearms. It only has stress marks going down the forearm holes so far.
What effect would using a hairdryer or water on them have with those pins nearby? I

Finally got a hold of this guy today and I'm just loving it. Sooo reminiscent of energon starscream in his transform, it's like having the same toy in a brand new package. I'm a huge fan of energon starscream too so this toy just hit it off with me. As soon as I took it out of the package it was instant recollection of how to transform. I really, really dig the design cues they took from it.

Headsculpt is fantastic too. Finally we're getting to the goods of the FOC line. Love it.

You should be able to take the stress marks out with a hair dryer. It would heat up the pins too of course, but not enough for them to melt the surrounding plastic or fall out without pushing on them.

How does starscream's head line up in Vehicle mode. I was planning on adding a head fin like Universe ramjet or armada Skywarp, would that fit in vehicle mode neatly?

I don't see how you could add the fin.
Starscream's head is laying down behind his cockpit, with the top facing towards the rear of the jet, turned around 180 degrees - so we are looking at the back of his head in jet mode.

Alright, sounds like if anything, I'd be going the partsforming route. Fit the spike on the back of the head when in vehicle mode

    Ebay:
got foc starscream today and while i was messing with him in noticed something. his top blue fin can come off. and under it there are two holes that match up 100% to his guns when combined. i wonder if there was to be some sort of gimmick or something to have this be able to be done. problem is there is no where to put the fin lol, other than on top of the gun haha!
