Man, Terradive might just be the best deluxe jet EVER.

OP, your size comparisons have me rolling! What, no pen comparrison? The people demand to know how many pens tall it is!

Fig looks nice, but not a huge SS fan. Well not enough to drop the current $16 retail price on him. I would however be all over a Skywarp repaint.

Great review...better than the video review by Kapow toys hahaha. This is the only figure I plan on getting from the line ..... so far. Have not been so widely anticipating a figure since Leader Starscream and then DOTM deluxe Starscream (still my fav deluxe jet former). It is a shame other FOC figures just don't seem that well designed.

Wow Starscream is shorter than Shockwave which means that Classics Starscream is the tallest.

This is a pass for me, I'm tired of giving Hasbro money for lack luster figures. They shrunk him down knowing that people will still buy it being it's Starsrceam.

    But sorry I'm not buying.

he fits in scale with shockwave and the others. the only figure that is horribly short in comparison to its counterparts is deluxe optimus so far.

Yeah and their scale overall is smaller than the rest of my Generations/Classics collection. So saying he fits in with a small Shockwave doesn't change anything when they're charging $5 more than they use to for deluxe class.

Quality is not just size and both figures mentioned are superior molds to Classics Starscream.
Besides, it's not Hasbro that's forcing smaller figures and price changes, when will people start to get that? This issue is affecting all toylines, not just Hasbro owned ones. For example, compare the pieces and prices of the Lego's current DC Batman sets to the 2006-2008 ones. Sure, they look a lot better, but they are still much smaller for higher prices, just from what I've seen Lego fans seem to be saner about this and recognise why this is happening, while Hasbro fans just sit around screaming like babies and accusing the company of being the source of the issue.

Starscream looks like an actually solid figure and pretty well done IMHO, and I would love to grab him. But I just don't know where he fits in in my collection as I don't have a "Cybertron" shelf, just Earth classics.

Maybe I can justify it by buying it as a present for one of the kids...muwahahahaha

Well...if you want to ''correct", the reason behind the size change is because of short supply..of..supplies. Shorting oil supplies, political changes, increase in world population, among other things. Supplies are shortening, and it's not Hasbro's fault.

Simply because the toys are getting smaller doesn't mean Hasbro is just getting lazy. Now enjoy what Hasbro is making. Unless you want to boycott all Hasbro products, then more power to ye'.
