I got one and its left knee was broken. Returned it and picked up another. The right knee is broken.

The joints are way too tight. I'm always very careful with my figures and used every trick I know to loosen them, but no dice. Trying to bend the knee resulted in the small blue circle with the prong on it (on the outside of each knee) to snap off of the lower leg and stay connected to the screw in the joint.

Fresh out of package, mine had a *very* stiff left knee. I had to be very careful with loosening it, because I could clearly see that it would snap the leg off if I tried to move it normally.

As one to the main ones who initially whined about the size of this figure before I got it.

He's actually a 16th larger than his Classics counterpart.

That's not to say that I wouldn't like for him to be larger it's just that he is still better than I initially gave him credit for. But paying 5-6 bucks more than what I did 5 years ago the FOC figure still doesn't justify it much I guess.

The paint is a little on the cheap side.

But it's still light years ahead of those "Prime" figures we're constantly bombarded with so beggars wont be too choosy for now...

I don't. But on mine, the ankle tilts are terrifyingly tight.

Man, I love this guy. Fun to pose, fun to transform. Just need to find suitable null rays. I wonder if we'll ever get some that can plug into the upper arms...

The ankle tilt is damn tight on mine. I tried moving it and heard a crack sound. Probably the plastic has split but he still looks and moves sturdily. Not gonna bother.

    just got mine tonight.
i had a stuck knee as well, i had to stick in in hot water then the freezer to get it to loosen up. it was the blue paint on the outer side causing the issue for me, it stuck to the inner joint fuzing them together.

the only thing i can say i wish was different is the color of the gun. being a fan of the game itself i would like to give it to the other figures in the game, but its starscream deco makes it look out of place.

I got a third one today and both knees are stuck tight. I'll be running through the gamut of tricks again. And no, on the other figures they didn't get looser as I tried to bend them. They stayed stuck until they snapped.

Well, I got mine yesterday and his knees are just fine. Just have one question: are the ankles suppose to move? Because mine are like stuck. Dont know if its one big piece of plastic or there is suppose to be an articulation there. Thanks!

The ankles CAN move, but 1) only if they're appropriately loose and 2) only left to right. Like others, the ankles on my figure were tight, but they can be loosened since screws hold them in place. The screws are in the holes on his calf area. These are the same holes that attach to the posts on his lower back when transforming to jet mode and locking him down.

Just realize that they're only meant to tilt side to side, they're not on a balljoint. I think many figures just came with them tightened more than intended.

Holy shit! It's kinda scary reading about all the breakage going on. So far mine's been fine, no obliterated knees or ankles... so far *knocks on wood*
