Although I'm not really a fan of having the top part of the thigh legs silver, instead of blue like the rest of the leg.

Visually, it extends the torso and shortens the legs.....

I can see where you're coming from, but I think that it might look a little weird, almost like he's wearing underwear on the outside since this one's so big. Good point though as I'm looking at my Generations TC and the legs are how you described them being: all blue.

Same issue the US MP Hot Rod had--the "hot pants" look due to coloring the upper thigh the same as the pelvis, instead of the same as the lower thigh. It seems to be a *Hasbro* thing as the Takara versions of the same molds aren't colored that way. So Hasbro's obviously doing it on purpose, and someone there thinks it looks better. (except that it looks like short-shorts etc)

 

Odd that there's still no pictures of MP TC next to MP-11.

Same here. I think Hasbro hates Ohio.

 

Ask your TRU's on when they're going to get the next truck shipment, if the price tag is already on the shelf that's a good sign. Then on that shipment day, wait there til they open the store, just a suggestion..  

 

Just found out they have 4 from the shipment they recieved but wint be unloaded til wed. :/

 

Removed tampos on top of intakes and painted over sonic booms.

 

Very nice. The only tampos that bother me are the ones above the intakes. Will rubbing alcohol work or should I use something else?

 

Alcohol works very well for the thin black lines, but the blue and yellow painted parts took quite a bit of rubbing, you'll still be left with blue and yellow in the panel lines. I had to finish the removel with a pink eraser and scraping the panel lines with a blade. Using some fine grit sandpaper might speed things up.

This looks really nice. idk why you guys are taking the red stripes off his shoulders tho.?? Its like his one paint app in robot mode.

Mine will not stay tabbed in @ the chest. Ami doing something wrong?? stinks to have to reset his entire torso every time i move his arm

Nobody mentions that TC comes with a silver chromed out version of the pilot packed with MP11?!?!

Got mine today and I like it. I was gonna sell my Takara version, but when taking it off display I remembered what a kick ass paint job he had. I just couldn't bring myself to list him on eBay or junkion.
