The takara one had the same issue with ankle looseness. That being said, I have both and the Takara one has tighter ankles and is generally more tight overall.

Does anyone know where I can view a picture gallery of this release Prime?

Without reading through the whole thread, does Hasbro MP-10 legs rachet at the hip for the in/out (sideway) motion? Cause mine doesn't? Is this universal or is it just on mine?

Edit: Never mine. I just answer my own question by watching a couple of video review. No doubt I love the figure but it's another flaw and a disappointment that a figure such as OP doesn't have that rachet. Most leader class and other MP figures do have it. Even most voyagers. I watch 3 video review and none of them bring this up.

i'm glad it doesn't, the ratchets in and out are usually too far spaced, and make the figure look close legged, or splits

I got MP Prime for 95$.... such a great deal... I am so excited to open him this weekend. Anything I should be aware of? Some say about his ankle...?

Take the screws out of his chest windows immediately unless you like scratched chrome.

If I take out the screws, what do I use to replace the screws? Or just leaving it out would be ok?

The screws are more or less redundant anyway. There are two other screws in a less sensitive place plus there are some tabs holding the windows in place.

Yeah. You won't even notice they're gone. Some people have had luck just screwing them in tighter, but for my money I'd just say get rid of them.

some people who have screwed them in tighter have had them stress the other side of the plastic, or even start to poke through. So yeah, get rid of the things.

This is great to know. I'm getting one for Christmas. It's the first thing I'll do as soon as it free from it's package.

I'm pretty ocd about stuff. There is no way I could just take screws out and not have something there. I filed down both sides of the screw, the point side, and the head. Just kept doing it until the feeler gauge showed they were beneath the plastic.

Keep in mind, the screw thing is no joke. They guy that 1st spotted it should get an "atta boy" from everyone on the boards that has one. I had one screw where there was a NASTY burr coming from the Phillips point, that would have destroyed the bumper 1st time.

But yea...if your a freak about it, you can file or sand down the screws pretty easy and put them back in so you can sleep at night.

I don't know but I have a spot on the side of my bumper where it looks the a lot of chrome has rubbed off. IDK, doesn't bother me nor do a few minor scratches from teh screws.

If it's on the top right corner, then it's from the factory like that. The Takara one had a similar problem.
