Actually the pricing in Asia here is no different from the pricing with the Taktom version. Many expected it to be cheaper being Hasbro version and all that and quite a number of people were taken aback when it was made know the price would be more or less the same.

Anyways, I left the trailer and the accessories in the office. Opened them up today and I noticed 2 things with the hasbro version:-

The tires are better on the Hasbro version as the rubber tires are more neat. Unlike the TT version, where the cut lines are shoddily done and does not cover the whole circumference of the rims. Well done there.

And the energy axe can detach from the handle and the actual axe. I don't really remember my TT one can do that. But please do correct me if I am wrong.

Overall, good QC throughout. I am very pleased with the Hasbro version (but not really pleased with the pricing). Everything locks solidly and securely and the joints are reasonably tight.

Note: Sorry, no pics at the moment. I managed to snap quite a few of Prime yesterday but too tired to upload and the memory card is still in the camera. Will do so tonight.

That actually varies quite a bit. The prices in Hong Kong are actually about $140.

Interesting observation about the wheels Tcracker, normally I would think Takara would be the one to have better QC.

There has been some botched QC from TT here and there and it happened in MP10. I just hope the rest of the MP releases will be better in QC.

Ah right, I remember the complaints about MP09 now. Yeah, hopefully the QC will be much better. If they can put out better variety this time around, I'm seriously considering getting rid of a bunch of my Classics.

The axe pieces do separate on MP-10 as well. On mine it always comes apart when I'm trying to get it out of the storage area in the trailer.

So is the height in bot mode like 10 inches and the MP-1 toy 12 inches or so?
Never had a MP figure and was curious.
    Thanks!

I read that prices are higher in places like Malasia though.

Anyway, Asia is a large region so maybe I should update to say "$140 to $200 in Asia"

As for the tires, they prolly remolded them and any re-issue or new runs of TT MP-10 will have the updated tires.

Both right? Nah, cartoon Roller has always been gray, heheh. Even from that Wiki pic, if Roller is purplish shade, that would make Megatron purplish too, lol when we all know what color he is.

That's good to know about the rubber wheel alignment.
As for the Energon Ax, MP10 does the same thing. My MP10 energy ax separate all the time whenever I rotate the lower ax from the handle.
Looks like I'm going to purchase Hasbro Prime after all. Originally, I wasn't sure to purchase one, give it my son, or for myself. With all these improvements, guess it's mine now.

WOW, GORGEOUS!!! TCracker, your pics sold me even more to get him! Hasbro Prime looks like TFTM Prime with that lighter blue eyes, yellow-orange top front cab light.

This may sound like an odd request, but can someone post a comparison pic of TRU Masterpiece Optimus Prime Prime with Prime RID Voyager Megatron please? Just curious as to how tall this guy is.

Here you go. I do not have RID Megatron anymore. So will the Arms Micron version do?

How well does the trailer scale with ROTF Leader Prime? I believe both figures are close to the same height in robot mode.
