2012 TRU exclusive Hasbro Masterpiece Optimus Prime

I am digging your reviews. Simple and a very easy read. I do not know whether I am getting this Optimus, but he looks nice in those colors.

Is Spike proportional to Prime? He seems pretty small, I wonder how is he going to compare against Sideswipe.

Thanks Tcracker! I think the colors are just outstanding on this figure, really defines him. Makes me wonder if Takara will eventually release one in cartoon colors as well, given their tendencies to milk their Convoy molds.

I mentioned it in my review. Personally he seems a bit small compared to Optimus in vehicle mode, and is a tad to big for him in robot mode, particularly when you compare him to the cartoon.

edit: apparently spike and prime's scale varies a lot.

crossing my fingers that the red on this prime doesn't fade very quickly. ive notice a lot of recent red transformers loosing their vibrant rather quickly.

Love the review and this mold. Have MP-10 but will pick this up for sure if I see it in the wild. FYI there is a triangular flap on the underside of his elbow that folds down in vehicle mode and fills in the space behind the front wheel wells.

I REALLY wish they had made this available at the Entertainment Earth booth at Comic Con this year. I'm glad to hear there are no QC issues or anything on your release. Thanks for the review.
