    He looks good.

But I have Warbot Defender, so having this dude is superfluous. Though, he could make a decent movie Springer or something.

Thanks very much, Agent Adam! Yup, looks more streamlined and a little less chicken-y with the feet mistranformed that way. :)

Sorry, this toy doesn't work as Springer any more than Bludgeon works as G2 Megatron. Another easy pass for this round of Generations.

I'll gladly take both of those that you've so graciously decided not to pick up :D

I'm sort of in agreement with many of the comments on the feet, but since I A) never picked up Tomahawk when he was out, and B) am an unabashed Springer fan, I'll be nabbing this for sure. Besides, Drift needs another Autobot to spar with, and the Evac-repaint Springer doesn't cut the mustard.

I don't mind the legs anywhere as much as I do the feet for Springer. The feet don't actually bother me on the other mould uses. Nevertheless I will be getting this and hoping that somebody designs new feet for Springer.

I think I'm over the feet now, especially after seeing the alternate transformation, but now it's the clashing forest green on the legs now that bothers me...

I'll probably still get him, though, since I've never had any kind of Springer before.

The helicopter mode looks good, but I don't like the darker green on the legs in robot mode. It's not a proper Springer anyway without a car mode. I'm glad I have Defender. I appreciate the effort they made, though, but if they wanted to give us a remold of Tomahawk, I would've really preferred Whirl.

Thanks for the great review. Quick question. My Tomahawk has a problem whereby the right stabilizer/missile rack pops off the ball joint when you transform it. I don't know if this is a mold problem, or just my individual Tomahawk or not. But, does he (Springer) stay together fine when you transform him. Thanks.

I too have had this problem with Tomahawk and Botcon Spinister. ...but not with DOTM Vortex. Weird.

Im loving him to be honest. I have him set up with the small toe-foot configeration, but also have his wings folded down to give him a more G1 look. He's replacing Botcon Springer for sure...

Seriously... when will they just figure out we want a new mold for Springer? So far, we've gotten Tomahawk with new colors and head and a Cybertron Evac recolor... plus there's the Botcon recolor of Cybertron Defense Hot Shot.

Sorry. I still like my Fansproject Defender as my Springer.

I'm on the same page with ya.

For whatever reason, Springer seems to have gotten the shortest end of the stick when it comes to the movie cast (with Prime and FoC versions, even Ultra Magnus has edged ahead) getting original toys.

This isn't perfect, but it's by far the best Hasbro go at it.

The people that have come in here and said "sorry" that they don't like this toy make me chuckle for some reason.

Really liking the way Springer looks in-hand. He's the one I was looking forward to most out of this set, and it looks like I won't be disappointed.

I picked the slower shipping method from RK, so as I repeatedly check my tracking number in the hope of an update, it's great that I can enjoy this guy vicariously through all of you :)

I like Springer most out of the 4. The head sculpt is very nice, and the colors are very Generation 1. Also, I do get the feeling that we will not see another decent Classic Springer for at least the next 3 years or ever; I am leaning towards the later.

Swerve just does not look right; I cannot explain in words.

Wheelie looks fat in that mold, but I think people will accept him for the sheer novelty.

Cliffjumper is a major "What the Fuck?" Couldn't they give the War for Cybertron Bumblebee mold the Prime series Cliffjumper's head instead? At least that was in the game.
