Not perfect, but the most decent so far for me compared to armored car mold and evac repaint.

I think the movie look comes down to anatomy looking alien-ish/less human-like even if overall form is humanoid. Like having pigeon toe feet fer instance.

The Tomahawk mold was a fun toy, I dont mind getting this one as I never had any Springer toy character(s). That and the upcoming Wreckers.

    That head sculpt is amazing.

Y'know, I had no problem integrating Tomahawk with my Classics, and not really with Spinister either. But when associated with Springer I just cannot get past those legs. I can't really tell you why it's okay for Tomahawk and Spinister but not for Springer, I just know it's wrong. I could probably deal with the other issues I have with Springer on the Tomahawk body if just those legs could be changed.

And as was suggested earlier, the missile launchers can be clipped to the machine cannons on the wingtips to make available the 5mm post space for the sword.

Good point, I forgot those were c-clippable. Same goes for the ones on the tail fin in alt mode as well I suppose.

I've hated this mold for a long time, but the green colors and the Springer head do give it a different vibe. I like it from a distance.

I missed out on Warbot Defender's second run like a dumbass, so I'm totally down for this Springer. I could do without the Movie-verse legs but I'll ignore it since it's the best Springer I can get for the time being!

Wow-- between his upper body being transformed right and the alternate foot transformation, he's looking a whole lot better!

Yeah that actually looks pretty decent. Might set mine up like that rather than the forked feet.

Yup. Definitely like that configuration. Will set him up this way and leave Tomahawk the "intended' way, for even more visual difference. Thanks AA!

Damn those legs really killed it for me but the tomahawk mode looks nice. Thanks for the review and pics.

Looks good, but doesn't work too well for me as a Springer. That mold would work pretty well as Whirl though IMO.

The recent comic version of Whirl is probably based on the Tomahawk toy.

That's a pretty sharp deco, but even with the mistransformed feet, I can't reconcile the head on that mold.

    My thoughts exactly.

Colors look phenomenal, head looks great, but I just can't get past the movie proportions.

As this is one of the few molds I don't have, I was sorta debating this guy, but as it is I'm leaning on pass because of the movie-esque look.

Oh man, sooo much better. It's the feet that was truly killing it for me.
