random assortment of size comparisons. Don't have a lightbox or a good enough camera to take detailed photos or else I'd take a bunch.

Just noticed the gray hands. I wonder why they did that?

I have to stand up for WFC Prime. Kibbly? Yes. Epic? Yes. I actually enjoy the transformation, too. I feel like FoC was a big downgrade in head sculpt, arms, and torso for the guy. WFC Prime's alt mode was very Cybertronian in that it didn't look like anything, but at least it fit together. Parts of the alt mode were integrated all over the robot with very little shellforming. It was a feat of engineering. In FoC Prime's alt mode it's obvious you just have a bunch of slightly converted arms, legs, and body. No passion in the design.

That being said, I'll probably pick it up for Ultra Magnus like everyone else.

Pass for me as he's too small. For me, Optimus has to be a deluxe at the least.

You very nearly got me to say, "Uh, haven't you read the thread title?", but then I realised you were just making a stealth "new Deluxes are Scouts!1" proclamation. Classy.

Man, the size really is too bad. I'm beginning to like the voyager size quite a bit. Before I was 'LEADER CLASS OR GTFO!', but the stupid gimmicks and triple price are making me stray from that. I just really hope we get more game voyagers at some point.

edit: That's not to say I won't be buying this guy. I love the way he looks, just dislike the shrink ray effect.

Now that's a sentiment I can at least mostly get behind. I've given up on Leaders, seeing as they have a tendency to either not get made at all or have debilitating gimmicks (I don't like my toy screaming at me whenever I transform it, thank you), but I generally find Voyagers pretty satisfying. It'd be nice to see one for Optimus, at least for scale's sake (even though I find the Deluxe mould itself quite adequate, quality-wise). If they made one for Soundwave, who already had a Deluxe, I guess it's not entirely improbably that they'd make a Voyager FOC Optimus.
