I can't help but feel like the kids would still prefer Bumblebee...

I have to disagree. I was born in 75, and got TFs right when they hit shelves. I have ALWAYS even as a kid wanted complex TFmations. Sometimes I like the easy stuff when it works.

Mind you I dont have this fig, but from what I read its hard to stand up. Kids hate that (I HATED that) my son gets annoyed by that. I just think this is one of the BIG stinkers of recent times, and I look forward to voting for this one at the end of the year

I actually did laugh out loud at this.

(still actively looking for Airachnid though, because I am an absolute sucker for all show characters.)

This toy hasn't sold in my area. Dead End is the only one in the wave that has. (Unfortunate, as he's the only Wave 4 toy I genuinely want)

Good review, the toy looks alright but I'll only pick it up if it's ever on clearance (well that, and if it's ever released in the UK), the cockpit looks like it can fit the micro machines action fleet star wars figures and I've got plenty of them still in packaging

Better yet, tape it on a Popsicle stick so it can pop up out of the toilet paper roll when she transforms.

Come on now. The point is for it to replicate a deluxe Airachnid.
What you're talking about is more like a Masterpiece Airachnid.
