Yep! Looks like I get to be lazy instead of going with the G1 cab colors for the trailer like I was thinking about.  

 

I don't get these comments. He's diaclone colors. Shattered Glass is a concept but allows all kinds of freedom on decos. I'm perfectly fine with my "Shattered Glass" Thundercracker and he looks worse then a clown.

Yes, I mentioned it in the first post. I had never played with this guy before and didn't look at the instructions.

 

I can't believe how well BT's colors match up. I know how my Magnus is getting displayed now.

 

I think it looks better with the armour than a regular Optimus does as as it has grey hands like the armour does.

And it's ideal for the KO tanker as you don't need to replace the head. and the only real issue with the fake armour is the head.

You're crazy. This is the best SG toy ever. That looks like Magnus. That looks evil. Done and done.

Don't know if it's the new head alone or what, but man...evil!

 

Crazier people thinks this toy is better than SG Optimus.

That was quite simply...stunning how well he fits in the BT. I actually want to buy that figure now, but I don't need anything from Shattered glass. That head sculpt is pretty cool looking now.

 

I can't comment on comparisons to the original Maketoys version as I don't own it. I can say that twisting the missile pod arms at the base was kinda scary and I ended up loosening the screws on the trailer there to try help that be not as tight and it seems to have worked.The only other issues are the hinges on the add-on feet are not very tight and he can be a bit hard to get standing without the trailer attacked to his back. No idea if all the KO's are like that or if its just mine. I actually don't mind the head the kit comes with, except the eyes were not painted equally so it looks like Prime is raising an eyebrow or something.

 

I love this thing with the armor. Actually makes it feel more like magnus to me.

 

  wow! That looks amazing. After seeing this I'm thinking of getting the BT kit for my SG Optimus and doing some repaint on it. Wondering if the BT head mold will fit on SG Prime. I seem to recall that the Maketoys version had a seperate head you had to install on the figure to use the Bigger head mold. Correct/confirm?
