And now we have 3 Pretender homages from the same figure. I love metalhawk's deco, it matches his pretender shell perfectly which is what all the other pretender homages have done because quite frankly the shells were more memorable designs, the inner robots were bland and uninteresting. The only snafu of corse being the human face, the decepticon pretenders got away with their updates because their monstrous shells translated better into robot designs. I think trying this out with Metalhawk was a bold move by funpub, and one I'm glad they did cuz Hasbro sure as hell won't. After all its not Bumblebee and how dare something that isn't Bumblebee. Exist within Transformers! (Still bitter I can't find a vehicon). The crosseyed thing? I don't mind in fact its stupidly endearing, like a really dumb dog, you can't help but love it. |

I wouldn't say it's more detailed, it's a pretty nondescript face really. ![]() Barely-used feedback thread |

I'm curious if that sword that comes with RID Optimus Prime will fit in Metalhawk's hand. It doesn't look like Metalhawk's vintage sword but it is light gray and about the right size. |
