If there is one, please kindly merge, thanks. On to the figure. Got lucky today while I was shopping in the local Tesco and stumbled upon TF Prime Cyberverse Ironhide and Dreadwing. Since they were the only 2 new figures on the shelf, I quickly snagged it. ![]() Summary Impressions: Ironhide have designs that harks back to the G1 days. The headsculpt is undeniably Ironhide with some movie-verse concepts thrown in. The paint apps are minimal at best but works surprisingly well for him. I have heard people complaining about his lack of color, but in my case it is sufficient and adequate. ![]() He comes packed with his cannons that are translucent blue and pegs literally anywhere that has the same sized peg hole. ![]() ![]() Truck mode looks great and it jives well with his tough guy and muscular stature. The molded details in vehicle mode is also done nicely particularly on his front grille and kangaroo bar. I like this sort of attention to detail. ![]() Here are pics of the transformation sequence that I took for the heck of it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The one thing that bugged me was that he SHOULD have neck articulation / swivel. The transformation design is as such that the designers could have worked in a neck swivel. Methinks if they did, this figure would be improved tenfold. He has this staring straight at you look/pose all the time. ![]() The molded plastic detail are great for a figure this small. If TT and Hasbro keeps this up, I will buy all the Cyberverse Commander figure irregardless of line. And speaking of weapons, he can combine the weapons with his wave mate Dreadwing for added bad-assery. ![]() ![]() Once thing I like about the Cyberverse toys be it Commanders or even Legions, the interactivity and combination possibilities are endless. This is the mini version of 'ARMS UP', in my opinion. ![]() Overall I am very pleased with him and if you see him anywhere, just grab him. Definitely worth your time and money. Thanks for reading. |

"Bonecrusher hates everything"____________-Official Movie ProfileI like the paint details a lot, and the fact that he has a bit of ankle articulation is great! A badass design and a nice middle ground between G1 and Movieverse. |

Here is my Sale/ trade thread:http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/items-...ale-trade.html Won't deny that I'm disappointed in the lack of a head swivel, head and thigh swivels should be mandatory on all cv commanders imo. At the very least those fantastic ankle joints are really helping balance out the lack of thigh swivels though. |
