He looks much better standing up straight. Now if only those wings were able to fold away...

Looks quite nice actually might have to pick him up.

My biggest complaint is those fake wheels. Hastak is sculpting them everywhere these days and are seriously starting to annoy me. I don't see the point, you increase accuracy by putting wheels where they are in the show, then lose accuracy because there's now 6 wheels in robot mode and the actual wheels are still in the wrong place.

Those side profile shots look better. He looks more properly aligned. I'm still not crazy about the front headlights being visible at the waist and he looks a bit scrawny, but he's definitely looking better.

Also, in regards to the fake wheels - if you look where they're positioned, they just look like extensions of the real wheels. It's not like RID Cliffjumper where there are two wheels on his shoulders, two on his lower legs and an additional two on his upper legs.

I think I like PRID Bulkheads legs, shoulder pads, and head sculpt better than the FEs. I might have to modify parts from the PRID version to fit the FE.

Agreed with folks above, this makes it a /lot/ nice. Personally still prefer the FE, but definitely makes this toy seem a lot better on its own.

    Thanks. :)

That looks much better, and he doesn't look down as much as the edited images estimated.

I'd still like to find an FE version for my Prime shelf, but this is going to make a great Classics Bulkhead. Thanks for the picture, pingth!

isnt really anything you can do with the hood?(rise it up from being the belly to be positioned as the chest?)

He looks okay if not great. But of the things I never noticed before, the unpainted fake tires on the outside of the leg are really annoying. That's unfortunate. And that even the hands are hollow seems kind of pathetic. I know they are trying to save on plastic anywhere they can, but come on.

I know what your saying about that with molds like CJ, but this one is actually pretty decent if you ask me (molded fake tires) IF...and I mean IF they were painted, they would give a great impression of the wheel encapsulated by leg parts.

I cant shell out for an FE, so I will prolly buy this one, And the 1st thing I will do will get some paint on those molded tires.

*looks at his FE Bulkhead* I'm so glad i was able to get one of those.

When i first saw promo pics of this guy, i was initially thinking "eh....i'm on the fence, i'll pick it up IF i can't get the FE, and i'll wait for more pics." but after looking at these pics, i'm certainly glad i found a FE on ebay, sure my brother had to pay £60-ish for it, but still.

Though i don't know why they couldn't have re-used the FE's legs, would have saved them the bother of molding in fake tires (that aren't even painted, i must have missed that when i first saw these pics).

The FE version also has molded unpainted fake tires on his legs, only they're on the inside of the leg instead of on the outside of the leg. FE Bulkhead also has the wheel wings on his back, though they are roughly half the size of the RID version's wheel wings.

Really, the only significant problem with the RID version is that the chest is too long. Aside from that, he looks fine, IMHO.

I still think it looks like a horrible figure. These RID figures seem to be simplified compared to FE figures. Fair enough, I guess, for a main line, but what's with the kibble hanging off them all the time? The wings on Bulkhead? At least the First Edition one had.... articulated kibble. The Powerizer weapons... I hate those too. The smokey clear jaw is just so out of place, and he's overall just tiny. It's kind of like the Animated Voyager Bulkhead. Except that that figure was good.

Right. on the insides of the legs, where they aren't so noticeable. The PRiD line repeats this mistake a couple of times, like Arcee's leg tires in robot mode. Why have the hollow ugly part facing the outside, rather than more hidden on the inside of the legs? It just looks dumb.

How about FE Bulkhead's hands? Are they hollow like the PRiD Voyager's?
