Seriously. It seems like people expect way too much sometimes.

Anyhow, agreed on all points. Once again, I may be speaking somewhat out of bitterness over never getting a chance to own Deluxe Starscream, but I stick by my opinion all the same-- this one is the clear winner as far as I'm concerned, and I'm definitely getting it.

Truthfully, I couldn't give a crap about the scale (although, if there options that are "close enough", I'll gravitate towards those. Unless that option is particularly crappy).

Mainly, I was just providing a counterpoint to the notion that he's too big compared to Megatron.

Scale's just not going to work, period. You make one comparison that works, and you'll find another point of comparison that kills it dead.

Not too bad, but I think I'll stick with my FE.

Now, if this guy is repainted into another character, or if he's on sale, then I'll grab it. Until then, though, I've got other stuff to pick up.

I'll get it for the character. It looks like a cool toy nonetheless.

It looks gorgeous, and there's no figure being released this year I want more.

FE Starscream will stay in my cast lineup display because of scale issues. This one will make a fine addition to my Starscream collection nonetheless.

I wouldn't say a to-scale collection is impossible with Prime. The only outlier so far is Megatron, whose the same size as Optimus instead of slightly taller.

A collection of FE Optimus, FE Bulkhead, FE Starscream, FE Bumblebee, RiD Arcee, RiD Ratchet, RiD Megatron and RiD Wheeljack is more-or-less in the same scale as the show, atleast on the basis of tallest to shortest.

I'm really not sure about Cliffjumper though, it's hard when he was never really seen with the other Autobots.

Looks like you can't go wrong with either this or the FE.

I like it. He may be a little too large, but the jet mode looks better than the FE's and it just looks like a fun toy overall(mechtech be damned).

If Megatron gets a weaponizer, I will get this. At the moment though, he's a pass because I already have the FE.

For some reason undersized Ratchet doesn't bug me but Gigantor Starscream kinda does.

Am I an uber scale freak, no, but I do like things to be as good as they can be. Would I upgrade Ratchet? Prolly not because when alls said and done the good figs who don't have Classics releases will stay on the shelf, the others will get packed away and mini ratchet works pretty well in that lineup IMHO.

    Prime RID Voyager class Starscream

The robot mode looks very good. The only problem, I see are the joints on top of the wings with should have been on the bottom.

Hear this, Hasbro? Instead of giving us those... things.... Give us a transclearant Hitler figure to be his pilot! That would be better. Actually, I think that'd be kind of awesome. I want a little Hitler for my Starscream. :D
