LMAO! Nice pics, but mine will pop out of the slot even when holding the figure by the legs horizontally with the hinge facing opposite the ground. So you would think gravity would hold the torso in place, but it is like a diving board. You press down and release and it pops back up out of the slot. I think I figured out where I need to cut more, but the location just isn't easily accessible with my exacto knife.

I also just noticed that only one of his two vents on the front in robot mode are actually painted blue, so he has an asymmetrical color scheme. Man, these case assortments are really annoying because it will be hard to find a replacement and if I do, I'd be limiting another person from obtaining an already limited figure...

Ah, ok, which explains the cutting. This is actually my second one since my first one was missing a lot of paint on the mask. I got lucky and found this one a couple of days later

I got one the other week, at first I didn't know what to think of it. There are some interesting bits about the transformation, but ultimately, I feel it's a very lazy design. The legs should be better integrated, the waist should lock into place, it should have working landing gears. The weapon is ugly as sin, real MechTech weapons were way better. It's like the designers gave up halfway through.

yes and because of this, he's now a statue next to megatron. Him and knockout were the ones i was looking forward to the most, but ended up liking bulkhead and vehicon much more.

You guys should just tighten up the waist joint by dropping some Pledge w/ Future floor polish in there. That way it won't flop around but you can use it as a point of articulation.

^ YES. Using it as a point of articulation allows for a fuckton of awesome posing.

I was thinking the same thing, i.e. "that spots needs some Future".

Just like the FE, this guy just oozes character. It's unsurprisingly my favorite figure of the year so far :)  I can't decide if I want to paint his crest and missiles red, honestly. I like the look as-is pretty well; even the purple arms fit in well enough.

Starscream's alone half of the time talking to himself, so having a voyager size'd one isn't a bad idea.

This figure is great. Yeah he's a little large compared to voyager Megatron, but everything else he does is done so well. One of the things I really like is the clear section of his chest. If you plug his weapon onto his back and wiggle the grey portion you can get a really nice looking red glow down the middle of his chest. I don't know if its intentional, but its a really cool effect and considering you could do the same with Megatron I'm inclined to think it isnt a coincidence.

He can also bend down really well, and balances almost perfectly

Forgive the terrible picture quality, shot was taken on a cell phone in pretty bad lighting conditions.

Same as with Megatron, I wish they'd taken the electronic gimmick and put it in the empty chest space like the cockpit on Starscream. Both Megatron and Starscream look ace lit up from behind.

Just got him yesterday in another country. Here are my opinions:-

    1) He is delightfully poseable, and for an articulation nut like me it made me happy.
    2) The wrist swivel helped tons in terms of the expressive poses, definitely another plus point
    3) The facial expression is pretty much well done
    4) Alt mode leaves alot to be desired
    5) The thrusters on the ankle did not bothered me much as I thought it would.

I am still on business travel at the moment for a week, but I have on tow my camera/tripod and black cardboard background. Will try to snap some pictures in a few days.

My final conclusion? I like him for the details and the articulation. This figure rocks. I still like the deluxe FE, for scale display purposes. It is nice to have choices. :D
