I'll be honest, this figure doesn't look bad at all to me, bar the purple forearms.

The only thing that throws me off it is the height. If it were smaller, I'd be all over it.

Totally agree. (Well actually, the heel and calf kibble in alt mode is worse for me but oh well.)

That said, I think both toys are really nice and I don't mind the purple arms on this at all.

Still, my only cons are prolly going to be the deluxes since I hate Megatrons design. So, for me it's just too weird to have SS tower over everyone else on the con team. Prolly won't be seeking out the FE either as I very OK not having a SS on my shelf (at the moment.)

i'm thinkin about selling my FE Screamer.

I'm seriously digging these pics of the voyager, scale be damned when Starscream is concerned.

I think my love for the character has just overridden my OCD tendencies when it comes to scale.

Well, it looks like I'm going to have to repeat myself again concerning the scale of voyager Starscream. Again.

What I've noticed so far with the TF Prime line (both FE and RID) is that there seems to be two scales portrayed by the toyline.

In one scale, arguably the most prevalent one, is the one that centers around the deluxe Autobot and Decepticon cars as being in the deluxe scale would mean that they're roughly the same size as the case in the show. In addition to the deluxe cars would be voyager Bulkhead (both versions), Breakdown, and Starscream as they have been shown to be taller than their deluxe compatriots (in the show and in the toyline). However it can be argued that Starscream is still a tad bit too tall, but fits in better with this scale than the deluxe would (I'm pretty certain that Bumblebee is not as tall as Starscream when Scream's been shown to be as tall as Bulkhead who's taller than Bee i.e. FE Starscream vs. FE Bumblebee). Arcee and Airachnid would also fit in this scale in terms of robot mode.
(Weaponizer Prime may or may not fit as well, though I have nothing to support this statement until the toy comes out)

As for the other scale, it centers around voyager Optimus (RID and FE though the FE is a tad bit too big, YMMV of course) and Megatron. In this scale would also include the voyager Dreadwing/Skyquake mold as Dreadwing/Skyquake was shown to be of the same statue as Optimus but a bit shorter than Megatron. Being a voyager allows him to be roughly in scale with the two leaders. Along with those three are deluxe Ratchet, Soundwave, and Starscream. In terms of Ratchet and Soundwave, they're pretty much a perfect fit for this scale since Ratchet was shown to come up to Prime's chest (right under the windows) where as Starscream and Soundwave come up to a similar area when next to Megatron. However in this case, the deluxe version of Starscream also ends up a bit too tall to be in perfect scale with the others. Or you know, enjoy the toy for what it is.

All in all, depending on which characters you plan on displaying Starscream (for those concerned about display over play), the deluxe and voyager look to be worthwhile purchases, especially for those who happen to like the toy but are on the fence about their scale, just bring in some other characters with a complementary scale. Or again, just have fun with it.

For anyone who dislikes/hates this toy, unless scale is a major part of your collection, there's no real point in buying it if it doesn't appeal to you, it's your hard-earned money and your choice, no need in forcing you to like it.

Agree with pretty much everything you said - I like both the FE DLX & RID VGR molds, but at this point, the RID mold would be cheaper than the DLX - so RID for me.

And screw scale - I bought CVC Megatron (the only mold for me, unless the FE gets a re-release) because TO ME he looks better than the Voyager. I'll buy the Voyager Starscream because he looks better than the CVC & the FE is too far out of my self-imposed plastic crack budget.

Only 4 figures in the entire Prime line have interested me so far. Soundwave, Steve and Jeff (Jet/Vehicon) and now this Starscream.

No wonder I couldn't find a review on Voyager Starscream. People are still calling it by that ******ed "Powerizer" name. It's a Voyager. Call it a Voyager.

This. Seriously. You'd think that when Hasbro themselves went out of their way to solve the confusion, it would have stuck.

    Actually it is a powerizer.

Do you call cyberverse toys scouts...basics...legends?

No, you call them legion or commanders.

It is whatever hasbro says it is.

Though to be honest, I still say voyager out of habit.

Except it says Voyager right there on the packaging. And on the Hasbro website. The word Powerizer wasn't even anywhere on the packaging of my OP and Megs.

The word "Powerizer" and "Revealer" only appears on the receipts, no?

Because that's how they're listed in the store computers.

It's not the official designation for the toys, there's no trademark stamps on the packaging denoting that Hasbro's claimed those names.

They're just internal designations, used for the solicitations.

Overall, I think this guy better captures the onscreen look of Starscream but the scale really kills it
