Transformers Prime Deluxe Knock Out

Well, no wonder you hate it: you have it mistransformed. The front panel is pushed out, but you have to push it down all the way, then push the top of the panel (and only the top) in until the head assembly locks under the cylinder behind it. Then hook the front lights onto the front panel; you'll know you did it right if it locks into place and doesn't give.

If you did everything right, it should look exactly like the prototype images of Knockout, seen here:

I just got this bot, and I REALLY like it. That's all issues withstanding. I'd like better colors, and it has some limitations, but both modes are really solid overall, and the transformation is pretty cool.

I contrast it with Cliffjumper, particularly due to how his arms transform and how much better his legs fill out. If Cliffjumper filled out in his arms and legs like KO here, I'd have liked it much more.

I highly recommend this one.

I picked him when I couldn't find Vehicon. I'm glad I did, he pretty fun to fiddle with and I like the alt mode. But Jebus is he tiiiny. I feel like I paid 14 bucks for a commander.

Feedback from my sister upon seeming Knock Out at retail:

"He's pretty (his alt mode/deco) in the show, that's part of his character...and they made him ugly! Ugh."

She probably would've bought it for herself if the deco were better, since she's grown to like him on the show.

I wish the color of the deco was at least more show accurate. I know he's two tone red, but the colors are far too different on the toy. He's neat though.

Knockout's supposed to be covered in big, ugly, black blocks? really?

He's still just one tone of red, he's missing all gold details (even the two hasbro did), his face is still the wrong color, and he's got big black blocks on his doors and hood that completely kill any hopes he ever had of looking how he's "supposed to look".

It's not better in any way.

The Hasbro one is actually a hell of a lot better, as much as I hate it.
