Just bought this guy. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed, if only because of those damn elbows. They may be show accurate, but they are TERRIBLE. I can't find a good way to position them. But otherwise, it's great. Just a little overrated.

I have no problems with the arms at all. You're pivoting the arm around the balljoint as the elbow, right? They don't work like normal hinge joints.

Yes. It just doesn't look right that offset from the shoulders. I've warmed up to him, but it's still a con ( :p  ).

Sorry to double post, but I just did the arm and leg mods.

He is now my favourite deluxe. In a very, very long time.

Cut a slot in the ball socket in the elbows and you can move the joints to a more conventional position. Search "RID Vehicon leg mod" to find Jin Saotome's.

No mods needed for this badass figure IMHO.

I disagree...as soon as I seen the leg mod I want to do it to the 3 I have. Is what it does is allows the car sides, that are on each side of the leg, to rotate so that the tires are facing out..just like the cgi model. The post I seen the guy showed a pic of the cgi model, and of the nodded legs....and its pretty perfect.

I see no reason myself to do the arm mod...I think that is what it is...but the leg mod..yea..THAT good.

There is no cutting of the headlights to do the leg mod.

If done the way Jin suggests, no change can be seen in vehicle mode - just be careful to follow his directions carefully.

Alright, I think the arms are just fine as is, but I admit my interest has been piqued by the talk of the leg mod... I searched through pages in the Radicon forums, but couldn't find it. Help, anyone? Just a picture even?

Just picked this guy up at a new Marshall's that opened near my work. AWESOME. Goes well with the other two prime additions I got today.

Yes, great figure. Funny how he was invincible when he came out and now he's at discount. Did yours come with the DVD?

Yup, came with the "Loose Cannons" dvd. Ridiculous that all the figures from wave 6 came with the same dvd.
