I got one in the mail in the other day (hoping to find a second at retail once the revised wave 4 hits-- I seriously overpaid on this first one), and I am in absolute awe at him. I actually feel almost giddy whenever I transform the legs...there's just something about folding in each part of the car one by one and watching them almost disappear as I do.

And the arms are indeed a little weird, but they're also very articulate; I can actually get him to scratch his own head.

Having the elbows the way he does is quite a boon. He isn't hindered a bit, and can assume poses that many other transformers figures can't because of how they're articulated!

Agreed. I've probably only scratched the surface of just what he can do with them-- so far, I've only managed the aforementioned head-scratching pose, a facepalm, and raising his forearms to block my Arcee from kicking him (which I'm kinda wishing I'd taken a picture of). More experimentation is required!

Really? I don't think I've ever looked at the show arms. Huh, I can't be quite so down on them now I know why they were made the way they were.

They arent terrible by any means, I'm just used to more traditional joints which makes these look strange to me.

They arent a deal breaker by any stretch of the imagination, the toy just does so much so right, that I can't be too down on it over a single joint.

Just got my first one, and I love it, even if it has a deformed shoulder ball joint... Can't wait till me other 2 get here!

These pictures are one of the reasons I love this guy.

The elbows are kinda weird, but as someone said earlier, they're actually show-accurate. At least... mostly. They're not inaccurate. I don't have an image to compare with. Other than that minor niggle - which isn't much, it just takes some getting used to - there is absolutely nothing wrong with this figure. He's an absolute joy to transform and looks badass in both modes. They really knocked it out of the ballpark with this guy. Funny how they'd accomplish that on a drone. I totally understand people wanting to get multiples... luckily, they'll be 2 to a case in the next wave, according to BBTS... hope they're right and this guy becomes easy to find.

Pretty awesome toy, with barely any flaws at all. The transformation is clever and surprising and easy once you know how. The elbow joints are strange, yet accurate within the confines of working joints for a toy that size. It would've been nice if the wheels on the legs could rotate to face front for a smidge more screen-accuracy, but that's nothing more than a nitpick. Very good stuff overall.

Lucked out and found this guy at Walmart tonight. At first thought I missed him since I just saw the 2 Knockouts and Hotshots, but then I saw him laying on the shelf. The leg transformation is pure genius and something I hope they try in future figures, although not 100% the same way. The only issue mine had was the upper thigh rotation was really tight on one leg and kept popping the leg off the ball joint and the gun was really hard to clip onto the arm. I went ahead and cancelled my BBTS wave 4 revsison 3 preorder. I just want one more so I figure ill find a 2nd at some point. Im going with 2 rid, 2 jet vehicons, and my FE to lead the troops for my mini army.

I think it looks like you can put in just a little bit more range in articulation by taking off some of the plastic on the back of the head. Also, some of that purple plastic on the back of the thigh by the knee? It appears you can give a little more range for the knee articulation if you take out some of the plastic there as well. Gonna try it on one of my Vehicons.

ROFL! Thanks, man. The things people say. I was in the anime fandom for a majority of my life and I'd love to say that I've seen and heard it all but every fandom has it's own crazies, definitely.

ive been lucky to get a couple vehicons and all have had this same issue with his left leg thigh rotation. the right moves no problem but all the lefts will have the leg pop off, but once you get it moving it wont be stuck any more.

I picked up a Vehicon last night and there's nothing I can say about him that hasn't been said already. He's super happy awesome fun time and I should send Hasbro a box of cookies as a "Thank You" (and homemade cookies, not some cheap dollar store crapolas). I never got a First Edition Vehicon and now I'm okay with that. Unless the FE has some absurdly awesome feature that the PRiD one doesn't, like farting potpourri or something, those crazy Ebay folk can keep 'em.

I hope the revision case makes them easier to find, because I've had NO luck whatsoever seeing these at retail.
The pictures of all the multiples just make the wound more painful...

the left thigh rotation seems to be because the ball isn't getting a "clean cut". If you press that area hard and then slowly rotate the legs, it should get looser.

Most of us with multiples ordered them ftmp though. I got two at retail but one each at different stores (left the extra one there both times for someone else to have a shot) and wasn't looking for them tbh.

The thigh issue was present on all four of mine as well. Once you get it moving it'll be fine.
