Awesome man :rock  Your Army of Vehicons must looks so awesome in person. I hope to be able to get at least 2 more and I will be happy. Right now I only have the 1 RID and 2 FE.

After having him for a few days I must say that I enjoy his transformation a lot more than the FE. I love how the legs form.

The only thing really bad about the figure is it's inability to roll.

I got mine the other day along with knock out. Today i got Voy Bulky and Starscream. Vehicon blows them all away. Best figure of the line so far hands down.

Went looking for Vehicon today and found nothing. I did see about 100 Bumblebees between seven stores though.:redface2:

Even if you bought em all from the same place or cleaned out multiple retailers of that figure, why should you feel bad? You purchased something that was for sale, and a great one that you've probably wanted for a while to boot. That in itself should absolve you of any guilt because you were simply acting your role in the supply chain without breaking any laws or store rules, let alone the fact that you're supporting the fandom & doing your part to keep it alive by purchasing multiple products.

... and like, it would still only be 5 toys, and something being sold at mass retail no less.

I bet, I just bet you got it on clearance!! It isn't worth 30$ tbh. I got one of those voice controlled R2D2's that normally was 150$+/- for 28$ from Books-A-Million, on sale. I'm talking regular prices, you know that. No cookie for you now.

    Sadly...this is so true.

I saw a man a couple days ago at Target of all places, huddling the only three Vehicons from the shelf in his arms. The fourth was in the hands of a kid, who set it down for a second to look at a Star Wars toy, after which the man promptly snatched it up and began walking at away.

The child yelled and asked for it back but was utterly ignored and went back to his mother crying because the toy he found of his favorite robot was taken from him by a greedy man.

I was stunned by what this guy had just done as he pushed past people and ran to the front of the store to a register.

Is this seriously how important it is to army build the Vehicon?

Moral of story: If you see something at the store you want, take it right away and hold on to it instead of putting it back or making a delay

This is why I'm building my squad gradually. One or two at a time.

For the record this is NOT the typical army builder. Let's all remind ourselves that what that person displayed is not typical behavior of an army builder. I certainly don't push my way through crowds and snatch figures from kids just to build my squads. I just found one today, my first found at retail, while I have two more coming in from ebay, and another two coming from a local. Just one more and I'll have all the ones I want.

Unfortunately I'm one of those guys who supports multiple buys. What if I buy three, and two of them are going to locals who have no time to hunt? How is that any different than someone who buys three to army build? What real, functional difference is there, considering that's three gone from a single store that could've gone to kids.

I'm pessimistic about the Vehicon. He'll probably be in Wave 5 but I doubt he'll be two per case. Kup and Rumble will most likely get two, Airachnid might come back, and there will be two Stealth Bumblebees for sure, and so that just leaves one Vehicon again.

I think that Vehicons will just be hard to get, period, unless Hasbro somehow manages to get a troop builder pack or wave out.

If the mother was smart, she would of just give him one good hit in the face and take the figure back for her son.

While it does not sound like a regular troop builder, its still a perfect example why I don't do it. One, waste of money that could be spent on other figures. Two, I know what its like as a kid to never find that certain figure at all.

Reminds me of a similar story of when Cybertron Unicron first hit around my area and was scarce. I ended up giving the kid the one I found due to a greedy adult taking the last one on the shelf, and the one the kid was intending to buy. Right out of the kid's hands no less. :redface2:

I'm still waiting to get this figure. I haven't seen it at retail and I refuse to buy it for $40+ on eBay. I haven't even seen any of the new figures minus the new Legion class figures.

See, that there is outright deplorable behaviour. Even if you are buying them all up to scalp online, you never, ever take a toy off of a kid. I really hope the store staff saw that and refused him sale even though I know such a thing is unlikely.

BlueAngel_Bolt, you have the right idea there, stuff like that is the good side of the fandom that balances out the wastes of skin like that scalper.

At least scalping would put them back on the market.
