Hi all.

Just got my MP11 and I must say it is very perfect, after so disappointing with MP03.

I have a problem:

When tranforming into jet mode, we will need to push in the 2 sides big wings (having the V shaped gaps between the big wings and body) ONTO the main jet body and there are 2 button clips on each sides of the main body to hook up the 2 sides big wings.

My problem is that, when transforming back to robot mode, how to I unplug/open the 2 sides big wings gently so that it will not cause stressmark on the button clips?

Let me know if you understand, else I will attach picture.

Thanks.

Ok thanks ! Just waiting for confirmation on replacement parts from RK, hopefully sooner than later !

So much better than the MP-03, but still has a couple of faults. I still wonder how it would be if they even took the waist and lower torso design from the prototype:

It also looks like the chest would stay together better.

Got this a few days ago. Damn, this thing is gorgeous. This is the best G1 Starscream toy, imo.

I want this guy sooooooo much, but I'd have to kick my own ass if I imported him only to have Hasbro issue it.

So, for now it's the waiting game for me. Congrats to all those currently enjoying the heck out of this guy.

I'm guessing by button clips you're referring to the tabs on the arms? The shoulders, while in jet mode, are able to move downwards either 1 click or almost 1 click, just enough so that you can move the tabs out from under the wings.

Thanks for replying.

Not that tab on the arm.

I am referring to the button clips that are on the 1 of the foldable white bar at the back of starscream.

In jet mode, these 2 button clips will be used to click on with the hole on the outwards wings.

Refer to the RED square box in the below picture. Thanks

What I do is move the wing section outward by using the pointed end, like I try to get a fingernail in between and gently pivot the pointed section out.

This is after unclipping the arms from underneath.

Understand that we need to unclipped the arms from underneath first, but when you said the pointed end, do you mean the sharp end of the front part of the wing section?

BTW, do you have stressmark on any of your 2 clips on each side as marked as red below:
