Nosecone broke on my MP-11 yesterday.  

 

Yeah, the scale really is a perfect fit. I think Igear should sell the downscaled Megatron gun by itself for MP-11.

Don't worry about it too much, I already see stress marks on mine. It's just too small, and fragile. I'm sure that will be a common problem.

 

I wonder why the original nosecone was fine but not this one.

 

This is the fouth MP seeker I've owned, and MP-11 is the only one that I've had a problem with the nose none hinge.

 

Actually.. I sent them an email about a possible weapons pack using the main weapon and Megatron gun mode from their faith leader, and maybe a new clip for the seekers hey mode last night. Still waiting for a reply.

 

I'm sorry but I have to disagree about the transformation

I found myself having an easier time transforming My MP Skywarp and more fun (Still have to get Thundercraker and a G1 style Starscream) than MP-11.

I found it so frustarting to transform him, SO I find myself wanting to keep him in robot mode. I still plan on getting a MP-03 and keep that one in jet mode.

 

The nose cone issue has got to be from being packaged on bot mode, where before they were always sent in alt mode. Now the fig bounces around on the cone where as before the entire underside of the plane supported the figure in transit.

 

Might be able to help you with a walmart Starscream, if that's the one you're wanting.

 

Randome on mine is fine.

 

Day 13 on my first SAL shipping experience from HLJ and still no sign of MP 11. Anyone that opted for the SAL shipping option from Japan received theirs yet?

 

Less than desirable, but not particularly unusual i think.

 

Can't wait until mine arrives from BBTS. It should get here no later than Wednesday.

Those with broken randomes, where did you obtain your MP11's from?

 

Mine arrived today in fine shape. Can't wait for TC and SW with this version!

 

How do the nose cones break? Is it repairable???  

 

Man, these photos really show how nice of a color the plastic is without being all swirly.

 

I'm very pleased with MP-11! Well, I was until I saw there's an option to make the nose blue...now I find myself wanting to do that without actually wanting to go through with it.

I'm loving the toy as my first seeker and I'm glad it improves some things(to me) some things that made me hesitate sometimes to buy the previous versions.

I find the cape really nifty the way it collapses to become smaller. It's clever and works well. The only downside is when I've posed the cape while on him, it can collide with the pointy bits on the tailfins. I'm very careful of course, but I'm afraid of that eventual half-second of carelessness when I pull on the cape while it's hung up on the fins.

Love the colors sooo much.

Really wish Sunstorm didn't include the cape and all and wasn't more of a limited release(I think?) since I'd maybe double dip on this mold if the price was lower.

I don't know if I recommend disassembling the hip to check, but it could be that a ratchet piece or spring is misaligned or missing altogether.

 

Nothing here yet, but it has only been about a week or so for me.

Man I hope I don't get a broken nosecone. I was always worried about them on my original MP seekers when I had them.

 

Finally got a chance to have a tinker with mine about 20 minutes ago.

It does feel a bit more solid than the previous mold (?) but at the same time there seems to be a lot of tight fitting tabs that require very precise alignment, and i'm slightly worried one or two of them are potentially breakage spots.

And the sliding tailfin sections are VERY tight on mine. Almost worryingly so.

The legs are pretty stubborn too.

The plastic doesn't look cheap in person (imo), although it is a bit more toy like than other versions.
