No upper arms too, they have tabs that fold down for the coronation shoulder parts to attach.

WAY more outward movement, I can see if he will sit as I busted out my Walmart MP3 as I'm prepping a review. MP3 can barely move his legs out at all while MP11 can spread eagle. No splits but spread eagle.

From the side, MP11 looks sleeker but MP3 hides the bot mode parts hidden a lot better in alt mode.

Quick question, does MP11's torso and midsection lock together securely in robot mode? Every time I would move Skywarp's arms the torso section would come undone. If MP-11 fixed this I think I'd bite.

No. It can come undone when I rotate the shoulders. Surprised it wasn't fixed.

Well aside from adding some sort of locking tabs, you got 2 options. Either have shoulder joints that are so loose that thes arm cant support anything, or they are tight enough that when they rotate up, the chest intakes rotate up.

Don't have MP-11, but my MP-06 also has the tabs on the shoulders. Wonder if it works to peg the new coronation gear on the old model?

Weird, my Skywarp's shoulders never do that.

Can't, the shoulders on MP3 and later repaints are too wide for the coronation armor. Same tabs, different shoulder design.

Just got mine this morning, and am fiddling around with it, taking some pics.

First impression? Really a solid figure, and definitely the best Starscream we've yet seen.

That said, I'm still a LITTLE underwhelmed. I guess we've just seen this basic mold too often for me to get too excited about it.

I'm transforming him right now, and the head is a bit of a pain in the ass, to tell you the truth. It looks great in bot mode though!

It definitely feels like the original MP-3 made to many sacrifices in order to have an amazing alt mode and an okay robot. MP-11 has made it the way it should have been, and turned it around so he has an an amazing robot, and a okay alt mode...

Seeing as how I'm fine with "okay" with my alt modes, this is just sex.

When going to robot mode, fold the chest down 1st, it gives you enough room to squeeze his "ears" while pushing through the frame.

Great pics! From what I can see besides the hip kibble fix (not that big a deal to me) the recent MP is different in areas but not necessarily superior to the MP3. I like his feet construction a bit more but over all I rate both versions on par with each other.

    Ah, thanks!

Yeah, both really shine in specific areas. Bot mode is more important to me, though, so I prefer this one over the Walmart version.

I'm actually trying to sell my Walmart 'Scream, but to be quite honest, a part of me wouldn't mind keeping him. Displaying them side by side in different modes would be the ultimate Starscream display.

This new Starscream looks nice. Great idea bringing the cape in, really brings a whole new look to the figure.

I was planning on getting the Sunstorm version of this mold, even though I already have the iGear Sunstorm. But now that I see how many changes they really made to the mold, I may spring for Starscream as well.

I, too, prefer the new one completely over the original. It's amazing how the lights from different angles can make his face change and make it look like he has a big smile.

MP11 does look awesome, but Takara bumped these figures out of my price-range with MP10. I'll just have to make do with my MP Skywarp (which is still pretty sweet anyway).

I hope MP Sideswipe is a little more affordable :/
