TFPrime Entertainment Pack: Bumblebee vs Starscream w/ Silas and Mech solider

Received my Bumblebee vs Starscream Entertainment Pack today from Robot Kingdom. This pack features both First Edition molds of BB and SS which have already been reviewed by fellow TFW board members, so this review will focus on the minor deco differences. Both Silas and Mech are noticeably taller than the other Entertainment Pack figures:

All and all, Silas and the Mech Solider are the highlights of the set. Bumblebee is "anotha Bee repaintz! Hasblow!" type of figure, and Starscream is ... a purple highlighted Starscream? I'm not sure where they were going with this repaint. The purple highlights really just kept making me say "Why not just finish the paint job and make a Skywarp?" But either way it still is an awesome mold.

I will recommend this set if:

A) You're into the FE molds
B) You really, really want the human figures and don't mind shelling out the $$$
C) You're just a Prime junkie

Seriously though, I think a lot of us were waiting on pics like this, and I'm really liking the black to blue transition on Bumblebee's stripes. Along with that, the colour seems like a good medium between the regular FE & NYCC version, which is something that grabbed me from the start. Then when we get to Starscream, I'm overall not too impressed with the way it's been coloured, but its neat to have coloured rubber parts, so... something different? Plus, the Skywarp mentions have been made quite a lot, and you are getting other shit with this pairing as well.

In other words, I might pick this up & sell off everything besides Bumblebee, but he's really all that interests me outa the set.

The eyes on Silas are just so piercing. Combined with his eyebrows and mouth placement I had to laugh.

Anyone else laugh like hell when they saw Silas' face? Aw jeez.

And Bumblebee would be great if his stripes weren't that stupid blue color.The shade of yellow and his face are better than the normal FE. And that feel when they paint/mold Starscream's head crest purple, but don't bother making it red on the normal release.

Was strongly considering picking this up, but I just don't like the base color on Starscream compared to the FE release. I think I will just track down a Starscream to go with Soundwave and (eventually) Megatron.
