Picked up Bulkhead the other day and got the rest of the commanders last night, all I need do is go back and get all the legions before someone else does.

    WTF?
How did you get Steve? I've been looking for Steve. All I ever find is Bob.

YES he is! Very cool figure, with his sword in hand, he reminds me of the G1 toy and G1 Megatron in the 86 movie. Very fun to pose in bot mode. Alt mode could be better.

Bot mode is actually more solid than the Powerizer and has better weapons.

I got the last Steve on the pegs. I will probably try to get 2 more of him for diorama purposes.

Actually you are right. He is the BEST Megatron toy for TF Prime so far. I might try to artiulate the head this weekend...

Great little figure. I even quite like the alt mode.

Not a big fan of the alt mode, but do appreciate that the transformation is on par with commander complexity.

But damn his bot mode is amazing. Just looking at it, one wouldn't be able to tell that he can even transform due to lack of any kibble or obvious joints needed for transforming sticking out.

If someone came up with a way to add panels to his back that rotated up around his head & down onto his back for shoulder armor - he'd be almost the perfect TFP Megatron.

Not real sure what could be done about the shoulder armor though...

What's wrong with the Cyberverse shoulder armor? Seems to be about the most perfect of the three Prime Megatron releases.

Im gunna go out on a limb here and say this is the BEST DAMN Megatron toy made in years...

It is more like a transforming GIJOE action figure that the old commanders or scouts.

And yes...I would pick this one over the voyager ANYDAY of the week

I was referring to their placement in alt mode - the bot mode is perfect, but I said so earlier...

Gotcha. The shoulder armor does look a bit out of place in alt mode, but at least it fits the austhetic.

Not at all. The big flaws with the voyager are mostly for the sake of the alt mode, such as kibble on the back and oddly placed shoulder pads. The Cyberverse doesn't have this problem because it just lets it's vehicle mode look like garbage for the sake of an amazing robot mode.

I was just in Target and all they had were Optimus (snagged him as soon as I saw him) and Starscream. Is Megs going to be hard to find or is it still just early in the game?

Typically the commanders have been plentiful around here. No probs with hatchet or guzzle. They are still warming, But Megatron is one per case I believe....

Pick it up when you can, you wont regret this one..

Conversely, commanders have been sparse around my area. I've only seen any of them once... and while there were a few Primes, there was only each of Megatron, Starscream and Bulkhead, which fortunately was good enough for me.

The alt mode is definitely not the strong point of this figure, it's more of a what passes for an alt mode than a defined alt mode, but the robot form is superb.

Seems poor Megs has suffered from ambiguous alt modes recently, using "alien vehicle" as an excuse for whatever they can get the parts to fold into.

There is also the non-DVD versions of these hitting in April, so I'm pretty confident that nobody will have a problem finding any of the first four within a month or two.

Oh, and Megs is awesome. I was originally going to skip him because I'm just not that keen on his alt mode (the design in general) but I'm glad I grabbed one. Bot mode looks like a non-transforming action figure.
