Yeah, my Battle Hooks looked like it had stress marks on one side right out of the box. So I've never felt like experimenting with that part of the transformation.

 

Some people actually like their Transformers to transform...

 

And some people just display their figures. He's just saying it's possible, not insulting your grandmother. Let's keep this civil, please!

 

So far no news as yet form Hasbro,the only way to get this Leader is to get this Japan Striker Optimus Prime

 

Even if the parts were swapped, would striker still be able to mount his guns in vehicle mode? I would just buy jetwing and striker and keep them unaltered.

If you're getting both it seems Striker is best kept in truck mode and Jetwing in robot mode. In those modes they can use all the accesories.

 

You're right, there - you'd have to alter the buster gas tanks/smokestacks to accommodate the mechtech weaponry if you wanted to be able to transform him to Vehicle Battle Mode.

Yeah... Personally I'll just be enjoying them both in whatever mode I happen to have them in  

But for the displayers out there, this is true  

 

That and not everyone can afford to buy both.

Well, we were talking about applying the jetpack from Jetwing Optimus to Striker Optimus, so the assumption there is that you'll be getting both...

I will have my striker prime soon   I really wish that they could release one complete Prime (jetwing plus striker accessories plus toysrus swords) and somehow make it all transform into a trailer. Damn I'd pay so much for that.....

BUT as it is I'll be happy when my Striker arrives. I'll have to make a custom axe for him! Or mod his hands to hold fireburst prime's weapon.

 

As you can see from the image. The finger is seperated from my prime hand. The finger should be intact to the hand ?

Or the set I bought have QC problem ?

 

Mine came like that too. There were a couple of things that needed tightening. Actually, in this case, I had to unscrew the hand to remove one of the plastic rubber bands (though, I could certainly have just clipped it). So - no worries!

I am still considering whether to get this Striker Prime or Jetwing Prime set.

 

Now that i have one in hand.....i really think a lot of the photography hasn't quite captured the saturation of the colors, or the slight metallic hue to the greys.

Not as 'bling' as Buster, but i think it still came out looking really good.

 

Am still keeping my finger cross if they will ever issue Striker Optimus Prime in "Bling" version
