It is missing a few apps from Buster Prime but with the abs it makes him look different. The darker gunmetal on the body looks better than the silver on Buster prime. Buster works as a good ROTF Prime but not for DOTM.

The guns separated are puny but not when combined, im not sure what you are talking about there. The tanks i dont miss much specially in alt mode where one tank from buster prime completely looks like a jigsaw puzzle. Striker doesnt come with those damn blades either that completely get in the way of everything.

The price has gone up because Striker IMHO is the prime to get for DOTM. Both bring their own things to the table.

And yes I own them both   Call me crazy but I like striker optimus a little bit more.

 

How to make ROTF Optimus better?

Give him a tan and six pack.

Wow, buster Prime looks insanely bright next to Buster. He does look too bright to me now.

Yea they sit much higher, aside from looking better they get out the way.

 

I agree with you your post and personally he is my fave Leader Class Optimus. Jetwing looks too gimmicky, Buster looks too er, toy-ish in comparison with Striker.

The lack of chrome means there's no chance of chrome scratching which the buster is known for. After seeing the scratches in my friends' busters, I kept mine back in storage.
