The brute force of the Autobot team, former Wrecker and possibly aspiring artist- Bulkhead has arrived!

Starting off in Vehicle Mode again- Bulkhead is a massive SUV built for rugged, outdoor terrain with colors to match. Its a nice, simple compact form.

Transformation is pretty complicated for a voyager, requiring extending and rotating several patches of vehicular kibble. Difficult at first but eventually you can figure it out.

As a result Bulkhead's Robot Mode winds up wearing half his car form on his chest, adding to his already massive appearance. For the most part Bulkhead's articulation is not affected by the variety of kibble but some joints (specifically near the shoulders) can be prohibited. And unfortunately due to the transformation scheme Bulkhead lacks a waist joint.

Bulkhead's signature weapon is an "Energon Mace" according to the directions. Perfect for smashing 'Cons! Or at least it would be if there was anyone even close to his size in this wave....

But I digress- Prime Bulkhead is a solid, well-made Autobot figure and an excellent representation of the character. Strongly recommended!

Thanks for the review. Would you mind taking a few more pics with a correct transformation of the chest? At the very least the headlights tilt up at an angle and the doors should wrap around more to the front (and symmetrically). Again, thanks for posting the first review of this guy!

Thanks! Also, if you remove the mace, does the peg hole remotely resemble his cannon or some sort of gun?

And yes, the peg-holes for the mace could easily pass for a cannon.

Btw, those wheels you have sitting at Bulkhead's hips are meant to stick out from the shoulders. Would you mind taking some shots with more poses/different angles of the figure?

    Couple extra shots-

This is just one possible variation for the back-kibble. Instructions recommend something a bit different.

That back tire kibble should go up behind his shoulders ala WFC Prime. And it's awesome that those pegs double as cannons. I'll need to see more pictures before I jump on him though.

    Looks sweet.

If you're taking comparison requests, how does he look next to Animated Bulkhead?

I misread a step or two in the directions. THIS is how Bulky's supposed to look.

I just had to let my wallet go sob in the corner for a couple hours...the Prime line's gonna be tough on the little guy.

Also, can we get a pic of the instructions? Are they like DOTM instructions (3D model) or did Hasbro go back to drawings? (No need really for pics, come to think of it.)
