The biggest problems on this figure are the feet. The ankle ratchets where it's metal on plastic have completely been stripped now on one of the feet on mine.

I do toy and product reviews, check out my channel.

I've had terrible luck with this figure. The first one I bought had an arm that was broken off at the shoulder ratchet before I even got it out of the box. I returned it for an exchange. The second one was also broken out of the box - this one's head had snapped off at the ball joint. I just returned it to TRU for a refund.

I've had my TRU Hot/Rod for awhile now and still have yet to have issues with it.

It's a very fun toy. I hated the paint job at first, but now I don't even notice anymore.

Got mine yesterday, had no problems with him yet. It was a bit tricky trying to get him into vehicle mode, but once everything lines up correctly, it's a little easier.

I have had him for two weeks and transformed him many times with nearly no issues. The only issue that worries me are the stress marks on the tabs of the backpack. I did my best to follow the instruction as listed in this thread but the stress marks still occurred.

Do I need to be concerned? Is this a sign that the tabs will brake off?

^ Yes it's going to break if you continue tabbing it the old way. You should use the top of your thumb and fingernail and directly apply pressure onto the small area of the tab which is the top part.

You will realize its going to cause you decent amount of pain and you will bend your fingernails like I did depending on how tight the whole tab thing is.

Tips 1.1: Do not ever rely on instructions as the proper way to do it.
Tips 1.2: Common sense is the way to go.

Yeah I accidentally put this in the japanese thread so sorry for the redundancy

Alright, I'm the guy who said his leg panel was broken a couple of months ago. So I returned it too toysrus and got a new one and I enjoyed it....until it's arm fell off so I returned it again and haven't looked back. Man I must be unlucky with this guy. Anyone else have the arm fall off or am i just clumsy?

Happened to me when I was taking my first out of the box, and my friend had it happen to him twice.

I broke the leg panel (without excessive force) on an otherwise good toy, so I bought a new one and just swapped out the legs and returned it with a "defective" note inside the box so they would send it back to Hasbro.
