I see nothing wrong with the cheekbones. The eyebrows are pretty minor. On the voyager I think they're actually sticking out too much compared to the show. The face lines I can see. I still don't think it constitutes the need for a third party head though.

I didn't say it did - just surprised no one's tried to make one.

Rarely are 3rd party upgrades needed...

The voyager looks like a smile while the deluxe looks like a smirk. Looks different to me

They both aren't "right" though I actually like the deluxe better I think even though the Voyager gets more stuff right, like the little lines and mutton chops. But it's also too square and the scowl on the deluxe is priceless IMHO.

Meh, I could live with either.

Nudging an old thread here. Finally picked this fellow up, courtesy of a Ross find - fantastic. I'm very impressed, and would happily have paid regular price for this toy, had I ever seen the FE wave at normal retail.

Do need to get the kink out of his headcrest, but all the joints are tight, and particularly the feet; I was worried about looseness there causing standing issues. As I and several others mentioned early on in this thread, Starscream's attitude is just sculpted straight into the toy, and the ability to pull off some of the groveling, slinking poses is just icing.

Just opened the one I got over the weekend. Needs some nail polish on the hip joints. Mine was floppier than a back pedaling politician. Other than that I really dig the transformation.

Wow. Mine was the opposite - the thigh swivels and arm sliders were so tight I was afraid of breaking something.

And a detail I just figured out, that I really like: the fins on the back of his legs are 'supposed' to be the horizontal stabilisers from jet mode that wind up folding into his forearms.

He's just average IMO. His jet doesn't look all that great. There's a lot of kibble underneath. Robot mode is pretty good, but the arms are a little goofy.

    One good mode=average

Would it be possible for someone to take a picture of FE starscream next to PRID starscram and PRID soundwave in bot mode and vehicle mode?
