I got this guy today, totally didn't realize they were already out. I should've gotten the other two also, but this guy is pretty damn cool.

His alt mode is the Belbullab-22 starfighter, which I believed appeared in the Clone Wars animated TV series. I'm not too sure on where it first appeared. In detail, the thing is VERY nice and is rather well detailed. It has the forward landing skids extended, and they cannot retract into the figure. There's not much else to say about this figure other than Grievous is very visible under it, which is a knock against it considering that Anakin and Obi-Wan appear to be well hidden in their modes.

His robot mode is General Grievous, and it surprisingly looks great, compared to the other appearances of him in the Star Wars Crossovers line. He's articulated at the shoulder, the "Elbow," ball joints at the hip, head on a swivel, and his knees are double jointed. He doesn't have any hands, but the nacelles on the side of the starfighter turn into Grievous' four arms, and the lightsaber blades can be pulled out to scrap with Anakin and Obi-Wan. He's pretty well detailed with sculpting on the inside of his legs and even the underside of his fighter hull backpack. Because of how his legs are designed, he stands shorter than Windcharger, which I'm using as the basis for comparison.

All in all, this figure is pretty damn nice. I was very interested in this line when we saw them at Toy Fair, and Grievous doesn't disappoint. I'm looking forward...and hoping...that the other two are just as good!

7.99 without tax at Target. Probably be cheaper at Walmart.

That's pretty nifty for its size. I thought the intitial photos looked pretty awful until I realized they were going to be small. Now that I'm seeing just how tiny they are, this guy looks pretty fun. I like how they included all 4 sabers in there.

Yep, I'll be getting him. Granted, I was going to in the first place, but at least now I know I won't regret it later.

This was pretty much how I felt. I only got one SWT, and it was the Yoda/Republic Shuttle one. When I saw these...I basically thought...why would I want to get even more simplistic versions of bad Transformers? Until I saw them in person today, and realized they were Scout sized. That is pretty damn awesome, so I bit. I'm actually going to go back and get Anakin and Obi-Wan tomorrow.

EDIT: Oh yea, just realized that there's this flap on his chest that opens up into....nothing. It wasn't in the instructions and I have no idea what it's for. It doesn't really sit well with the landing gear in alt mode, and there was nothing else in the package. No detail for Grievous' organic organs either.

Ugly. I'm a huge SW fan, but Hasbro has never crossed SW and TF successfully, at least in my eyes.

<- Still wants them to do some TF characters with Star Wars alt modes.

But that Obi-Wan doesn't look bad.

The smaller size and price point are appealing, it's a shame the toy looks like it does.

Oh HECK yeah! I knew they were going to be small, and that explained the simplicity, but at THIS scale, they totally work!

Since I like my X-overs for kitbash fodder, mostly, I'm very pleased that this subline will be in a more main-line friendly scale, those not-quite-voyagers in the mainline can only double as certain characters, and add to that the SW-altmodes, and you're really stuck for uses, at Scout-sized, I'm sure there are a lot of little space-craft 'bashes to be had!

Not to shabby. I'll probably pick him up, but I don't like the other two.

Honestly, that looks more like a Cyberverse Commander then a basic. And considering that, it really doesn't seem all that bad.

It's not great, but it's not bad.

Size scaling and nomenclature is all weird nowadays. I figure "basic" was the most appropriate...then I remember later after linking someone else that they're called "Class I." Cyberverse, Scout, Legends, Legion...sometimes I long for a more streamlined and simplified classification system!
